When BollyWood meets HollyWood (Part 1 Pg 2)

A warm hello to all the lovely members of the Geet Forum!! 🤗 This is Jasmine and I have written a few FF's , OS's on Virman and Arhi' (Check all my works Here). This is my first FF for Maneet and I hope you all will like it!!

The story has a back drop of Amritsar. (So it will have a few words of Punjabi, hope you all can understand Punjabi)

The Characters are:-

Mohinder Singh: - He is a "pathi" in the "Darbar Sahib" He is a man of principles and Values and does not like any one speaking ill of his family. He is a strict man for the world, but loves his family a lot. Of all his children, he loves Geet who is born in the family after three generations. Head of the Handa family, he is fondly called Daarji by all his near and dear ones.

Shamsher Singh: - Eldest son of Mohinder Singh, Shamsher went out of the way and started his own business in Canada. After bearing many heavy losses in business, came back to India but was not accepted back in the family. He is now planning of different ways to get back in the family, and has become a threat to the Handa Family.

Kuldeep Singh: - Younger Son of Mohinder Singh, exactly like his father- very strict and discipline loving person. Is very fond of his daughter and pampers her a lot. Hates his elder brother for keeping a bad eye on the family.

Kulwant kaur: - Wife of Kuldeep, She is a religious lady who loves her family and respects all decisions taken by "Daarji" and is loved by all. She has subdued all her desires and expectations in the name of family reputation A mother of two, Geet and Hardeep (will be introduced later), she is very protective about them and can fight with the whole world for them.

Geet:- The only girl child in the Handa family, Geet is loved and pampered by every one. She has completed his studies and is now looking for a job. She loves photography and keeps moving to different places to capture beautiful scenes.

Maan Singh Khurana:- An NRI Canadian business tycoon, Maan loves business tours and is a very tough man. He is always surrounded with journalists and clients but has never had any GF nor has ever thought of Love or Marriage...

Geet puttar, you should now learn a few household works... In Canada, no one will help you prepare food or wash clothes... Ugh Daarji... mainu nhi jana Canada... I want to live in India and learn all the skills of Photography ...

Ohho... This girl will never change...

MSK, you have a business tour of two years scheduled from the 25th of April till the next two years to India and it is very important for you to go...

India!!!--- for two years??... IMPOSSIBLE... Replace me for some other tour...

MSK, this tour will ensure that our company is the top most in the whole World and we cannot take any risk for that... you have to go and it is final...

What will happen when the arrogant Maan reaches India and bumps into a beautiful Geet... how will he stay there for two years... Will Geet ever go to Canada... or will she leave her love- Photography...??

wow i loved it..

Phew, I finally got the time to write an update for this FF. I was on the verge of putting it on hold, but something (Your love) saved me from doing so! And hey guys, I have a Facebook Page where I constantly interact with all my fans and give them regular updates, So if you read all my FF's which can be found Here and want me to update it ASAP or give me your valuable suggestions, please feel free to write it on the Page and I ll make sure to Reply every one..

As this FF has a Punjabi Background, would you guys mind having a few words of Punjabi in it?? Well, read on the first Chapter, and see if you guys are comfortable with it, and then let me know if i should continue using Punjabi words in the FF...

It was one of the days when the Handa family had every reason to be happy, Geet had to go for an interview for which every one but Geet was sure that she would get the Job. Geet had no interest in the job and wanted to take up Photography as her profession. Kulwant was very enthusiastic as now she could start searching boys to marry her off.. Every one was happy and gave their suggestions to make the wedding a happening news of Amritsar. They were eager to see their bubbly Geet as a bride.

It was 4 AM in the Morning and as a daily routine Daarji sat with his Harmonium singing "Shabad" in his melodious voice. Slowly the Handa parivaar gathered and took blessings of the Almighty. Every one was eagerly waiting for Geet to join them but she did not turn up...

Every one was tensed as they knew Dadaji did not like any one missing the morning prayers and they were sure, Geet would get scolded by him... After the "Shabad" Daarji went straight into Geet's room and gave instructions to every one of not standing besides the door to figure out what is he talking with his grand daughter'

"Geet puttar' darwaza kholo beta' Vekho sawer ho gyi hai'"

"Geet baby, open the door' Look' its morning time now"

"Ummm'. Daarji' son do please' bohot nini aa rhi hai te thki hoyi ha main ' "

"Ummm' Daarji, please let me sleep' I am very sleepy and tired"

"Puttar, tussi interview lyi jana hai na' jldi utho' 5 min bad tusi mere kamre ch hone chahide ho'"

"Baby, you have to go for interview today' get up fast'. You should be in my room in exact five minutes from now' Get up fast"

"Ji, Daarji..."

Okay, Daarji'

Geet hurriedly got off from her bed and stomped into the washroom to get fresh' As the cold droplets fell onto her body' she saw herself clicking photographs of birds, scenic beauty and portraits and then suddenly she was surrounded with a heap of files to be checked and rewritten'

"NAHI I can't do this mainu Daarji nu dasni hi payega main eh job nhi kr sakdi Nhi ban sakdi main kise di gulaam NAHII"

No I can't do this I need to talk about it with Daarji I cannot do this job I cannot work under any one NOOO

She quickly came out of the shower and dressed up hurriedly and ran into Daarji's room

"Daarji andar aa skdi ha?"

"Daarji, can I come in?"

"Hanji, puttar aao daso ki gal hai?"

"Yes, baby come tell me.. whats bothering you'??"

"Daarji' wo' main' eh'"

Geet puttar' beta Geet' kithe hain tu'?? Kulwant enthusiastically entered Daarji's room without noticing the conversation going on between the two..

Daarji stared at her while she came and stood in front of Geet with a bowl of sugar syrup and continued with her rant... "Puttar... " Ah kha lai te jldi chl... Naashta taiyar hai... jldi kr wrna thnda ho jayega...

Geet, eat this sugar syrup and come downstairs to have breakfast or it will get cold...

"Kulwant, tussi vekh sakde ho ki Geet saade nal gal kr rhi hai... tussi jao, main puttar ji naal aaya",

"Kulwant, you can see that i am having a word with Geet... Go and i ll come down with her" Darji replied back and Kulwant stormed out of the room...

"puttar, we ll talk about this later... lets have our breakfast and then you have to go for the interview too"

"Daarji, but..." Geet tried to stop him

"After the breakfast I said..." Daarji gave her an irritated look and it was more than enough for Geet to understand the impossibility of Daarji allowing her to take up Photography as a proffesion.

AT THE BREAKFAST TABLE

Geet ignored every one and quietly made a toast for herself and gulped it at lightening speed... She could not wait for every one to leave the table and let her have a word with Daarji...

But it seemed as if Daarji could read her eyes and he excused himself on the pretext of having a pain in his body and went straight into his room without letting any one lend him a helping hand..

Geet had no option but to go for the interview and every one rejoiced at the success of their plan...

On the other hand, Kulwant wanted Daarji to marry off Geet before it gets late so she barged into his room to discuss about it.. She asked Daarji to find a groom for Geet or let her do it.. and Daarji reluctantly agreed to her wish on a condition that she will not let the family's prestige in question...

NEXT UPDATE:- Geet comes home crying and Daarji is worried for her...
