I cannot contain myself today. My heart is so full and I am too damn emotional. I need to get it all out so bear with me.
No fan girl today. No drool (although ladies, that thing Barun does with his brow and that smile and the flick of the tear...death by chocolate). Just sheer brilliance that is hands down THE BEST JODI on TV - Sanaya and Barun are their own competition. That is not an opinion, it is a fact because I am sitting here with a lump in my throat, tears nearly falling on my laptop from the sheer beauty that it is to witness two souls bearing it all and they are not even bloody real people.
Not going to dwell on Shyam, he is not important today - so he finds out about sleeping arrangements, I am sure his ass backwards plan will make them end up in the same bed - so go for it snakey. In their unburdened world with the help of bhang, Shyam is just white noise for ArHi.
The beauty of this episode begins with Khushi in the gazebo sprinkling gulab jal on her face. She is cleansed from Shyam's touch and now she reflects on all the moments Arnav has reached out for her physically, touched her and set her heart a flutter. The same quizzical expression on her face - kyun - Khushi is back with the dhak dhak. Despite everything - sleeping arrangements, buckets of water, cheap shots - dhak dhak is back. When all of their circumstances are stripped away, when it is just she and her heart, it's just him.
As Arnav walks close to her in the gazebo, his voice sets the tone for the scene - his 'Khushi' is light as a feather, deep with meaning. As he removes the color, she removes his hand (after the FB back to the mitti scene). Arnav walks away, he is hurt but he is accustomed to it and he can understand why she would not give in to the intimate moment particularly with him and what he has done to her and what he thinks she feels for someone else...but she stops him and he is totally totally taken aback. It has always been her trying to get away from him. What a flip and it was gorgeous and absolutely necessary. An unfiltered uninhibited Khushi finally opens up, finally reaches out to touch the face that has been longing so desperately for someone to reach in and stir his hollow soul. Why, she asks, does my heart beat for you like no other??? I could have bloody died and I did. She falls unconscious. Despite everything he has done, again, her heart beats for him and she is so damn innocent she is asking him to explain. Cry for her Arnav and her unconditional love for you, inspite of your mask. And he does and I die again *please I am so emosonal, I needs to regroup*
The walk back to the house was so reminiscent of the guest house and served to remind us how damn far these two have come. The way he strokes her face on the lounge chair, the way he wipes that tear - all from the guest house but flipped on its head. She asks again - please I have tried to figure it out, tell me why this happens. And he answered her. I got a lump in my throat watching how vulnerable this fiesty young woman who never ever let this strong hard hearted cracked darkened soul of a man ever get the upper hand as she waited, so trustingly for an answer. And then I lost it as ASR, the ruthless cold calculating man, pulled her hand up to his chest and explained that he too had a heart, he too had a weakness and it was her. Their hearts - free of all the circumstantial white noise beat together as one. *the role of Anu will now be played by her aatma* When you watch a man - who is the very definition of prideful ego - become so very open and vulnerable, allowing himself to finally be hurt but also open to love - well, it made me a blubbering idjit.
They love each other even though the misunderstanding has not been cleared. That is unfiltered, unconditional, unbelievable and unadulterated love. *kleenex please*
