Sorry for the very long delay! This contains a lot of twists and the story will take a new turn now..so hopefully you guys like it!😳
Chapter 13
Maan looked at Geet as they went home after the robbery...he just wondered about the truth..how can he bring himself to tell her the truth? "Don't break my trust" that same line said by Geet played in his head...how can he tell her the truth without breaking her trust? How can he love her back without all of this? He closes his eyes thinking about the right step..thinking of a way out of this mess that will not cause her much pain but no matter which path he chooses pain is evident from both sides.
He didn't want to do anything without telling her the truth...he looks at her as Meera drove..she looks at him with a smile while looking away blushing...Meera noticed both of them through her rear view mirror and smiled to herself..she was happy that Geet finally decided to move ahead and somewhat forget the past..if not then at least she has someone to share it with. Pari was about to turn around to look at them when Meera hits her arm to let her know not too.
She stops the car in front of the house...both, Meera and Pari, gets out of the car leaving the two of them alone..Maan got down from the jeep holding out his hand for Geet..she slowly takes his hand while getting down from the jeep...both stand close to one another not knowing what to say..both lost in their respective thoughts...
Geet: uhh Armaan would you like to have dinner with me tonight?
Maan ("maybe then I will tell her the truth when we are all alone..I will make her understand why I had to lie to her...) Yeah sure
Geet (looks around and comes closer toward Maan) give me an hour to get ready...(Maan watched as Geet left him alone outside on the driveway...)
After a while, he went inside thinking how he can bring up the subject...Geet is the first girl where he felt like this...she makes him feel alive. He could sit in front of her all day and just listen to her talk, watch her smile, watch her looking lost as she thinks about her past...
he wanted to spend every moment with her the minute he wakes up..he wanted to see her sleep peacefully at night knowing she is safe..he wanted to be there for her no matter what and share all the moments together...he closes his eyes...how can I hurt her feelings? How can I break her trust? Should I even tell her the truth?
As soon as Geet went inside Meera looked at Geet with a smirk. Geet knew what she was thinking and she knew that Meera knew about her and Armaan. Meera stood in front of Geet as she was about to leave. She gives Geet a hug with a smile. Geet hugs her back.
Meera: I am really happy for you Geet..I am glad you listened to me!
Geet: Do you think that this will work?
Meera: I have seen how much he likes you through his eyes and I know you feel the same way.
Geet (hugs her) thanks Meera. Actually me and him are going to have dinner in the backyard.
Meera (gives her a sly look) hmm okay...me and Pari are going to leave then
Geet: Why? You guys join us too
Meera (roles her eyes) no thanks..anyway I was thinking of visiting Yash you know to see what he has been up too..you guys enjoy! but before you do...we gotta figure out your outfit
Geet: Outfit?
Meera: yeah...Pari is already picking out some dresses from her wardrobe for you! Lets go..(Meera drags her upstairs toward Pari's room...)

Maan waited in the backyard for Geet..the whole place was decorated with candles..in the middle of the backyard was a small table with two chairs. In the middle of the table was a flower vase with candles on both sides..he goes near the table playing with the candle fire...he was still debating whether to tell her the truth or not...if he does then both of them will burn espeically Geet...if he doesn't then Geet will be happy...what matters the most? His case or Geet? He was just standing there not knowing that Geet is coming toward him.
She saw Maan standing near the table with his back toward her. She was so nervous to be with him for some reason. She never felt like this before about anyone..Armaan is the first one...she looks back at Meera and Pari who gave her thumbs up before leaving them alone for the rest of the night. Slowly she proceeded toward Maan with a smile. Maan sensed Geet somewhere close...he turns around and saw her approaching him.
He was stunned...he had never seen anyone more beautiful in a simple attire. She just had a simple one shoulder dress up till her knees. On the side of the dress was a round sequences making a flower shape. She looked down as she got close to him. Maan came near her forgetting everything...he just stared at her while Geet looked down not knowing what to say or do.
Maan: You look beautiful!
Geet (looks at him) thanks! (Maan holds out his hand for her..she takes it..he pulls out a chair for her waiting for her to sit down...she looks around at the decorations that Meer and Pari have done for them...)
Maan: the decorations look nice but not as beautiful as you
Geet: Thanks! (both look at one another not knowing where to start..Maan puts some food on her plate..) Armaan you said you had to tell me something?
Maan (stops eating and looks at her..."should I tell her or not?" He shakes his head) uhh nothing...Anyway lets talk about you..
Geet: If you don't mind...can we not talk about me..I don't want to talk about my past until am comfortable...
Maan (puts his hand on top of hers) its okay Geet..take your time...I will be right here waiting for you when you are ready
Geet (smiles) Thanks Armaan! (both heard some soft music playing in the background..both look at one another laughing knowing it must be Meera and Pari's idea to do this...)
Maan (stands up holding out his hand for her) A dance?
Geet: would love to! (she puts her hand on top of his..Maan holds her hand tightly as he pulls her quickly to her feet..she holds on to him tightly as both slow danced..)
Maan: Geet how can you trust me when you don't know anything about me?
Geet (stops dancing) I don't need to know your past...it took me a while but I can see what Meera was talking about...I am ready to move ahead with life. I don't care if you ever remember or not..I don't care if you were a bad person in your past...all I care about is the present times..being with you..but just don't break my trust Armaan..that is all I ask. Someone broke my trust, my parents trust long time ago that took their life...caused me to be alone in this world forever...you are the first person that I am trusting Armaan...
Maan: What if I broke your trust unintentionally...but didn't mean too? What if I was pressured too? Then what you would do?
Geet: I would break...(she looks at him with tears) don't break my trust Geet (She hugs him tight)
Maan: Geet will you be willing to leave with me then? Anywhere? Leave this Bandit Queen life?
Geet: Yes..
Maan: Then lets go..first thing tomorrow morning..you and me will leave this place forever...just the two of us...
Geet (looks at him shocked) are you serious?
Maan (smiles) yes...we will have our own adventure together...what do you say? Meera and Pari will understand..
Geet (smiles) Okay...
Just then it starts raining..both run inside holding hands...Geet stands against the pillar with a smile...Maan looks at her with a smile..."for you Geet I will leave everything, forget everyone and start a new life...I can't break your trust Geet...I promise Geet I will try to keep you happy like this..." He promised himself as he walked toward her.
There was a water drop near her lips...he brings up his hand slowly bringing it toward her lips..she closes her eyes when she felt his thumb close to her lips...he presses her bottom lip a little making her look at him...he leans closer to her..she nodes her head yes..he kisses her on her lips...Geet wraps her arms around his neck pulling him closer and closer toward her...Maan puts his hands on her waist pulling her toward him...both kiss each other for the first time...Maan nibbles on her bottom lip pushing his tongue against it making her open her mouth...
Geet stopped responding when she felt his tongue inside her mouth..she didn't know what to do..she opened her eyes looking at him..Maan sensed something was wrong...he stops kissing her..."follow my lead Geet..." he whispers against her lips...he looks into her eyes letting her know its okay...he gives her few pecks on her lips before deepening the kiss..he puts his tongue inside her mouth..at first Geet was hesitant then slowly he got into the rhythm. Both kissed each other until no one could breath...Geet hugs Maan tight as he kisses her neck moving downwards...she arches her back a little giving him more room
"Armaan make me yours.."
Maan stops kissing her and looks at her...he picks her up carrying her toward the room...he makes her lie down while he lies down right next to her.."No Geet..not now later...I want to make you mine in front of God...not like this..."
She lays on top of him with a smile..."how are you going to make me yours..."
Maan (puts his hands on her waist turning her around so that she was underneath him..) by making you my wife after we run away (he winks...she leans up and kisses him on his lips..Maan bends down to kiss her back when she pushes him away laughing...)
Geet: hmm then you have to take my hand if you want to make me your wife...
She runs away..Maan runs after her...he sees her going into the gym...as soon as he entered he saw her standing in the corner smirking at him...he went closer to her but stopped midway..he knew that she must have a plan...he smirks...he puts his hands up in the air
Maan: okay you win...you have to make everything harder for me don't you
Geet (slowly walks up to him..) than what is the point in having fun without a challenge...and you know Bandit Queen loves challenges...(she puts her hand toward him..Maan looks down at her hand and then at her...he puts his hand out for her but as expected she started to run from him. But this time Maan was quick for her...he trips her making her fall down on the floor...he takes her hand and holds it up in victory..)
Maan: now what do you have to say?
Geet: I say not so fast...(she trips him too making him fall on the floor...he lets go of her hand when he was falling..she stands over him in victory) now what do you say?
Maan (smirks and looks below) I say I can see (he motions his eyes..Geet forgot that she was wearing a dress and was standing right near his head..she bends down to cover herself when Maan holds her hand..pulling her on top of him...) looks like I won...(he winks)
Geet: I don't mind loosing to you...(she kisses him...she lies on top of him closing her eyes with a smile. Maan just watched her sleep peacefully..he slowly gets up picking her up and walks toward the bedroom)

Geet squints her eyes when she felt sun rays hit her eyes...she felt something moving near her ear..she frowns in her sleep and raises her hand to shoo away whatever that was on her...she did the same thing again when she felt it move toward her lips...she slowly opens her eyes when she heard someone laughing...she saw Maan sitting there with a smile on his face holding a feather...
She sits up in anger...
Geet: So its funny seeing me angry?
Maan: Nope its funny seeing you shoo away a feather in your sleep...(he pecks her on her lips) good morning...I hope you are ready for our adventure today
Geet (looks at him confused...) adventure? (Then it hits her...) ohh umm do you think what we are going to do is right? What about Meera and Pari?
Maan: I talked to them...they are fine...now lets go..we gotta leave after breakfast
Geet: okay but where are we going to go?
Maan: I don't know..wherever road takes us...okay now get ready..(he makes her get out of the bed...) I will be downstairs...
Geet: Okay..(she quickly goes to the bathroom...)
Maan waited downstairs for Geet to come..he had a bad feeling today for some reason as if something is going to happen. He wanted to leave from here as soon as possible. He already thought of everything...he wrote his resignation letter which Adi will deliever to Rahul as well as a good bye letter to his family.
He couldn't believe that he is doing this, leaving his job and everyone but he didn't care. He wanted to be with Geet and protect her from the pain she might've gone through because of him. He wanted to shelter her away from everything and hide his identity forever...he knew that he was cheating her by not telling her the truth but he just can't see her hurt.
He saw her coming down the stairs with jean pant and smile yellow top. She looked beautiful. She stands in front of him as both look at each other forgetting the fact that Meera and Pari were standing right next to them looking at them with a smile. Pari clears her throat to bring them out of their thoughts but none did. Meera finally gives up and nudges Geet..both Maan and Geet look away feeling embarrassed.
Meera: If you guys are done looking at each other then shall we go to the breakfast table to eat?
Geet: hmmm (she leaves with Pari and Meera without looking back at Maan. Maan joins them after few minutes to recollect himself...)
Just as everyone was about to begin eating...police came running inside the living room...everyone stand there looking shocked...
"So we finally caught the bandit queen..." Maan saw Rahul walk in front toward Geet...he looks at Maan with a smile.."Good job Maan you completed your mission..Well done!" He pats Maan on his shoulder. Geet, Meera and Pari look at him shocked...
"Mission?" (Meera asks with confusion)
Rahul: Yes mission to trap the bandit queen. We needed proof to put away the bandit queen so we decided to put one our man undercover which is officer Maan Singh Khruana. Thanks to him we have a full videos and pictures of you stealing from Officer Adi Chopra's house. We all have been following you guys since Maan joined your team waiting for you to rob again.
Yesterday night was the perfect opportunity. (he shows them the pictures of Geet and Maan inside Adi's house. Maan looks down in guilt) Arrest all of them! (Consitbles puts hand cuffs on Geet, Meera and Pari...Geet looks at Maan with tears while Maan looks away) Maan you can go home now. We all are very proud of you for catching the bandit queen.
Maan: Wait...(he looks at Rahul) Sir please I need to talk to you
Rahul: We will talk in my office Maan...now don't forget your main priority should be your case nothing else.
Maan: Okay then can I take them to the jeep at least?
Rahul: hmm yes you may
Maan leads Geet and everyone toward the police jeep with Rahul and everyone closely following behind. "Geet listen to me I wanted to tell you the truth..I was going to leave..."
Geet (looks at him with anger) save it Officer Khruana! (she slaps him on the face before getting in the jeep..Meera and Pari gave him disgusting look before sitting in) Congratulations for catching us! Enjoy your reward...(Maan looks at her with pain but there was nothing he could do about it...he watched the police jeep driving...both look at one another with pain and tears...)
Okay I know so much has happened here but it was needed...😆
