Part Fourteen- Epilogue

Udayveer awakened and looked around puzzled. Had the past few hours been a dream? Did she really remember everything, would things be normal between them now?

He was just about to get out of bed and search for her but then the door opened. She opened the door. Her hair was up and she had dough on her face. He smiled and shook his head as he chuckled. The servant left the trolley. Manyata indicated her thanks and then pulled the trolley in. She sat down beside him.

"Itni haasi kyun aari hai?," she inquired.

He gazed at her lovingly.

He took some off her face and showed her his finger.

"Oops!," she exclaimed.

She grabbed his wrist.

"Chalo kuch khalien? Muhje bahut bhook lagri hai," she said.

He said," Of course princess. I remember you can't stay without eating,"

She rolled her eyes.

"Wait didn't I stay hungry once for you?," she inquired.

He raised his eyebrows then did recall that one time.

" Yes last year on Karva Chauth. You didn't want me to know so you pretended to faint so I would give you water," he hissed.

She frowned.

" I did not purposely faint ok? Now I am going to eat with or without you. I made puris. They are getting cold," she said.

He pulled her back quickly.

" First two things," he said.

He reached over and kissed her forehead and then pulled out her hair. He repeated what he said to her on their second meeting.

She smiled and blushed.

Then she got up to serve food. He wrapped his arms around her. She kept nudging hin.

They eat together. They talked about the past, present and their hopes for the future.

The night passed blissfully.

About one year later

"Manyata aur push karo. You can do this," he assured her.

"Tum meri maad nahin kar sakte. Just stop telling me to push, I can't do this much longer," she snapped.

" Sorry princess if I could help I would. Yeh part to sirf aap ki zimedari hai," Udayveer said calmly.

" Zimedari my foot! This is your baby too!," she snapped back.

She was able to push out the baby a few minutes later.

The new parents looked at their newborn son Manav in awe.

" I am sorry Udayveer if I said anything to hurt you. Let's just say I am not doing this again for awhile," she said.

Udayveer caressed his son's cheek.

"Lekin princess he is worth it," Udayveer said.

She smiled as she leaned forward and kissed their newborn. Udayveer sat down beside her and kissed her forehead.

Later on they presented their newborn to their families. They also went to see Jai Nandini and Jagat who had their daughter hours before their son was born. Dadisa blessed both newborns. She was happy to see her great-grandchildren.

The sisters grew close with the birth of their first children. When the babies were six months old, their Bua Unnati got married to another royal named Vikram.

Both royal families continued to inspire their people with their own lives. Jaighar and Devghar were joined forever. Udayveer and Manyata's love continued to blossom with their son Manav as he grew up.

Yaddein yaad aati hain yah nahin lekin pyaar toh rehtha hai.
