I'm finally yours, my Ocean
A billowing breeze from far yonder blew at her tresses and whipped patterns across air. She could taste salt in the wind.
An expansion of deep blue hues left her mesmerised. Setting sun made curious signs on the wavy stretch of glassy waters. Horizon spanned in an endless line marking the kiss of touch of a blood-red sky.
"Arnav" she whispered. He was the ocean. The ocean of mystery, it's depths unknown and it's secrets unfathomable. So much to give, yet so little taken; the epitome of shelter for countless living off his magnanimous splendour. Yet he still had so much to offer.
"Ocean" she whispered again. Just like mother earth, he is the most misunderstood. He is the vilest when disrupted but many a time she had seen him beautiful and serene, peaceful and gentle.
She touched the gold bangles he so lovingly slipped in her wrists. It was a mere play act to make the world believe in something that didn't exist. She craved for the play to be real; a truth that exists between her and that vast beautiful ocean. But she knew that would never happen.
Her heart ached, bled as the truth seeped inside her. It was a forbidden love. A star crossed love. A difficult love. An impossible love. Also a one-sided love.
A fierce longing for him shot through her inner core making waves of need crash through her. Yet she smothered them with a shake of her head and a smile on her lips.
"He's not meant to be mine" she whispered.
Oh if only she could touch him, feel his warm skin under her palm, hear his throbbing heart under her craving ears, smell that worldly fragrance of his. If only she can kiss him and embrace the silence of unspoken depths of his eyes. If only she can taste him, breathe him in, feel his touch on her skin. She wanted him to fill her in, feel him inside her.
But no. he is never meant to be hers. She must accept it. And move on.
But can she?
She clutched the blood red saree draped around her ethereal skin; his favourite color. She was dressed for him, to him. Only if he would see her and claim her as his.
The whole world said he was not meant to be hers. She's not going to give up though.
"Arnav, Im almost yours" she smiled contentedly as she slowly walked towards the gentle lapping of waves.
Soft sand caressed her feet as her smile widen. She was near to him, so very near to him. She wanted him to taste her, breath her in, feel his touch on her skin. She wanted him to fill her in, feel him inside her.
The gathering darkness was overwhelmed by sheer brilliance of the setting sun. It made her look up for a moment, drawing her eyes away from her lover. Sun rays illuminated her creamy skin, rosy cheeks and feverish eyes. The sun rays already seem to accept her defeat.
"You are no longer Arnav's" Kushi said victoriously shielding her eyes and looking at the sun with a triumphant smile.
She let out a delighted laugh. "I'm finally going to be yours Arnav" she said happily.
Each step brought her closer to him. Her body ached for the touch of him. She wanted to be near him. Taste him, breathe him in, feel his touch on her skin. She wanted him to fill her in, feel him inside her.
First waves of the ocean lapped at her feet and she closed her eyes in ecstasy. Her senses tingled and her breath hitched in anticipation.
She walked further in; his feel on her sending numbing sparks of pleasure through her body. She smiled contentedly as she felt his touch on her skin. She wanted to laugh, cry out in happiness. She wanted more of him. This was not enough. She wanted him to consume her wholly, thoroughly as his.
She felt him surround her; each step of her's bringing him closer to her, wrapping his body around hers.
She felt him near her mouth. Her taste buds sent waves of delight coursing through her body. She can already taste him.
More, she wanted him more.
She wanted to breathe him in. So she took a long deep breath of satisfaction. And just as she longed, she felt him fill her in. She could feel him inside her; him coursing through her body, consuming her, marking her as his.
She welcomed the darkness as he possessed her, mind body and soul.
The rush of euphoria hit her as blackness warped her senses.
"I'm finally yours Arnav" she breathed a final whisper, her voice carrying away in a gurgling bubble and dissolving to nothingness in the vast blue ocean.
