Sun TV Bags Billa 2 TV Rights



After selling the audio rights of Billa 2, now the makers of the upcoming Tamil film have sold the TV rights to Sun TV. The television channel has sealed the deal for a whopping price.


The buzz is that Sun TV faced a tough competition from Star Vijay and Kalaignar TV but it is the Dayanidhi Maran-owned company, which has the last laugh. Sources say that the satellite rights of Billa 2 has been sold for an undisclosed amount but assured that it should be a big price considering the huge hype around the film.

Billa 2 is made with the budget of 30 crore plus. The movie is expected to hit the screens in May last week. The film directed by Chakri Toleti and it is produced by Suresh Balajee. It also features Mumbai-based model Parvathy Omanakuttan, Bruna Abdullah, Prabhu, Rahman, Krishnakumar and others in the cast.

Exclusive News about BILLA 2 RELEASING DATE : Billa 2 directed by Chakri Toleti and starring Ajith will be releasing on May 25th. 😃

Yuvan Shankar Raja is almost done with the music so the audio launch will also be held soon.

Sreekar Prasad is doing the editing. Costumes are by Anu Vardhan, the wife of Vishnu Vardhan. It will be remembered that it was Anu who gave Nayan her makeover and was also responsible for the uber stylish costumes sported by all the characters in Billa which became quite the rage. Cinematography is by PS Vinod... 😃

Sun tv will normally spend more money on films. 😆 They also bought Thuppaki for 12 crores 😆
