India - A Male Dominating Society - Page 2

1. Do you think India is still a male dominating society?

The interior parts are still very backward and quite male dominating! but the metropolitant cities are far less but not completely far yet! but they are definete;ly much better than the muslim countries!

2. Do you think male domination (as a father, husband, brother) sometimes interfere in your freedom as individual? Is it suffocating?

For me, NO! both my parents are extremely open and let me do whatever i want and there is no differenciation between boy and girl!i still play soccer with all boys and stuff and none of them seem to have a problem!

3. Does young generation (specially men) want to see it as equal or they are happy as it is?

I really don't know! i lived most of my life abroad and never worked or studied there to comment on this!

4. What can we do as young generation to change it?

Believe in ourself and most definetely cling onto our dreams and persue them! many girls do not have any ambition, we should have an ambition and the courage to cross all odds in making our ambition, wishes, dreams come true!

i hate cooking! i simply can't cook! i can only boil egg and make milo! but i'll learn! i'm only 15!

Cooking...what do you describe as cooking. By cooking I am talking about is not like chef where you get read made chopped things from your helper and all you do is masala. We woman cook everyday including weekend lunch and dinner. You start with making ur own dough, chopping making food +++++ doing dishes and last but not least cleaning kitchen once all is done. That my friend is I called "cooking"... for us! 😛

Yes, men have been good cook since ages,provided they take it up as their profession/earning(one of Pandavas/Bhim used this skill to hide for one year).... but not as a helping hand to women !
