What I thought was that she had Amar up on such a pedestal...many times there have been references in the show also where she says, "Tum the toh I felt I could do anything"..."Today I felt you were with me toh sab achha ho gaya"...that kind of thing...Amar was/is her inspiration in life...he inspired her to do whatever she did...he was her hero...so that is why I found Megha's use of the word "uninspiring" for Mohan very telling cuz she can never put Mohan in that "hero" bracket...no matter how much good he does, no matter how much he helps, he's "aevein" in her dictionary...an almost deliberate effort to dismiss him too I'd say.
A part of me feels k he was her hero because of the kind of man he was. So unrelentingly honest and truthful - I feel k she was a fistful of energy and he tamed her, shaped her and helped her channel her passion and energy to a constructive cause. I feel k he nurtured her "himmat" and "jazba" to what it is now - something that even leaves Mohan awe-struck sometimes. So I guess it makes sense k she is looking for the same kind of
inspiration now. Someone to inspire her to be BETTER than what she is right now, to grow more. And since currently Mohan is enemy no.1 for her, there is no chance k woh kuch bhi sikha sakta hai usey (at least in her mind). Tabhi he is "uninspiring" and "aivein" abhi.. And I can't wait for when that changes.. 😆
