Fans are very emotional people: Kratika Sengar

From playing a romantic to a warrior girl to playing a matured mother...Kratika Sengar has surely proved to be versatile in her five year stint in tellytown.

Starting off with a cameo in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, she found her calling in the television industry and did Kasauti Zindagii Key. She won accolades for her performance in the show Kya Dil Me Haiand then showed her action moves in Jhansi Ki Rani. Yet again, she is on the small screen doing something completely different from her last role; Kratika is currently seen opposite Gurmeet Choudhary in Punar Vivah - Zindagi Milegi Dobara.

With a few fans pleading her (on a social networking site and her fan pages) to leave the show and let Drashti Dhami play her role instead; as they would love to see Drashti and Gurmeet together on the small screen (after the show Geet... Hui Sabse Parayi), how does she react? She replies, "About my pairing with Gurmeet Choudhary, I have undergone all mock shots and look tests. Fans are very emotional people and when they have seen you with some people and they like your chemistry, they expect you to work with the same person again."

Well, looks like fans have to wait and watch for the chemistry between Kratika and Gurmeet. After all, everyone needs a fair chance!

This looks like a real article to me with a proper title of what Krathika has exactly said in her interview rather than a misleading title 😊

Its the interviewer who asked her about GC's chemistry with previous co-star and their fans ka reaction...so Krathika only replied to that query in a politically correct way I feel 👍🏼...

the previous article was a twisted version of this same interview ..this one looks more valid and correct 😊

thanks a lot Deeps for posting this and I hope both fan grps maintain the sanity and decorrum of a public forum by taking this article sportingly 😊

Jyo... Exactly... KS is a savvy actress and I am sure her words were misconstrued. 😡

The previous article's title itself was inflammatory and misleading. Thank god ...TOI did some damage control . KS does not deserve all the bashing she got due to some media gimmicks to get some hits.

The lady is a hardworking actress who deserves a chance to shine ..wish all the fan groups give her a chance . It is not even two weeks and I am sure she has won over many viewers with her flawless portrayal of Aarthi. :)

@Deeps:I agree. ..in all this ego war of the fans .,..poor actors and actresses are always made the scapegoats and media enjoys with popcorns ...

I just hope media itself stops asking such controvertial queries to an actor ...the trigger point of every fight r mainly these misleading articles without any head or tail

And about fans ..hope things settle down soon between all ...

And about KS ,yup its just 2 weeks and she definitely needs to b given a change to prove her worth 😳..so far her act is definitely impressive 👏
