NT did all that so that she will not dare to rasie her head against them but I think she too free spirited to cower down that easily. Waiting eagerly for fight agianst injustice to begin instantaneously.

Geet is too brave to cower down... but before that she has to make sure each and every step of hers DO NOT affect the ones she is trying to protect... she needs to gain confidence that her siblings are not in the circle, due to which she is getting blackmailed... Naintara is very shrewd to take such a step... kind of like a long term and experienced criminal... Geet will have Maan as a savior IN ABSENTIA as well... head priest could not say because he was hurried due to his daily activities and responsibilities... MANY SECRETS REVEALED IN THE NEXT PART YET SOME ARE HIDDEN... GEET IS NOT ALONE EVEN IF HER FAMILY ABANDONS HER... HER FRIEND WILL BE HER CONSTANT SUPPORT ALONG WITH MAAN... Geet was devastated but then for some reason accidentally when the gold chain (arrogant stranger's chain which fell in the temple and she was given as a token of God's blessings to her) reappeared before her she was enthralled and was filled up with a new surge of energy and enthusiasm to avenge her disrespect and humiliation. With new spark of energy when she returned to the family room to get permission for exposing such disgraceful people, she was out rightly refused by daarji and Brij veerji got furious, threatening her of dire consequences. This time Geet was in no mood to falter in what she vowed to do, she had enough of being suppressed even when it was her life and future at stake and she also had been voicing her fears and was trying to stand for her strong views. But then suddenly an agitated daarji and an outraged Brij started threatening her for life, Brij going to the extent of strangling her. In the process Geet pricked her feet very badly with a stray nail lying around in the house, Brij adamantly proclaimed that her punishment was apt. Still not finding her dampened, daarji relented to the only solution he could think of burning her palms with lighted coal to which Brij delightfully obliged, still Geet's spirit did not falter. At the same time our arrogant stranger also felt some pain but he would not acknowledge it as usual, since he came here for some personal work he did not even pay heed to his heart and soul. Knowing and respecting Geet for who she is, none but Rajji and Titto were the only ones supporting her, unknown to the rest of the family; they fished out Dev's number and sneaked her out as she wanted to call Dev so that she can notify and intimidate him of her actions against him. Geet sneaked out of the house only to come across her childhood friend Gurvinder. He told her about Brij killing Channi (his love, his wife and mother of his unborn child) and also about Brij's search for Richa, but before he could go into details, all of them had to disperse due to the lurking danger of Brij's goons.

{Channi was Rajji's best friend and Gurvinder's lady love and all this started when his twin sister Gayatri was betrayed into sleeping with her "husband" Raunak Ahuja, who when came to know what his the-then girlfriend made him do, legally married Gayatri and in due course fell in love with her and had a pretty baby girl, but fate had other plans and they got killed in an accident staged by Raunak's girlfriend who plotted it for money and assets. Their baby was just a few months old then; and Raunak's elder brother and sister-in-law Ajay and Priya Ahuja took the baby their own and ever since (about 4 years now) Channi, Gurvinder and Geet had been showering love to the couple's twin sons Rishab and Rishi along with the baby girl. Channi met Gurvinder during school and they fell in love but expressed to each other after Gayatri and Raunak's demise and got married in an extremely private function attended by the Ahujas and Geet as Rajji did not dare to go against their family "principles". Gurvinder had to hide his true identity of a high class Sikh family because he had to protect Richa's identity and life (Gayatri and Raunak's baby daughter). Channi got pregnant with Gurvinder's baby but when her family came to know about it then her chauvinist brother along with Geet's brother Brij veerji murdered her brutally and buried her in the forest along with proofs. Geet was present during the whole of encounter but in hiding fearing her own life, and since she could not do anything herself but gather proof of the murder and later on she remained the only witness to the crime and nobody knows of Geet being the only witness. Gurvinder came to know about the murder and was devastated and was on the run ever since, untraceable even by Geet.}

After meeting Gurvinder and returning home, on the way Geet passed through her fields which she had shown to Dev and were offered as her part of dowry to him, while passing she noticed that it had been occupied by some one named "Maan Singh Khurana". Furious at her land being occupied by somebody she stormed to that place to give the person a piece of her mind, when she went there she tripped but found herself in the strong arms of that arrogant stranger who was Maan Singh Khurana. Maan grew very angry at Geet assuming her to have deliberately fallen on him, but the situation was different. When he helped her on her legs then she moved a bit far from him as well as from the place she stood only to find that his Jeep's oil tank got a leak and she slipped on the oil. The two started their ownership battle over the issue that Maan had purchased the land legally and he wants her signatures for sealing the purchase and she refuses because she claims that the land was acquired by cheating her and her family. But in that argument Geet happened to notice that they were new to this place and with a leak in their Jeep fuel tank it would be difficult for them but by that time he was accusing her of fraud. Just then his family accountant or munshiji intervened and while listening to munshiji's calming attempts Maan sort of tried to let his anger rest, but Geet's health gave away she fainted due to the blazing sun and the reaction which the drugs had on her.

PRECAP : CAN AND WILL GEET BE ADMONISHED AND HUMBLED BY THE SO CALLED RULES OF THE FAMILY??? WILL SHE HAVE AID???
