Going by past records as well as the trend of this story till now, I don't see Ekta Kapoor going for a sensitive and thought-provoking study of marital infidelity. I think she's basically just exploiting the subject. The presence of seasoned performers like Mona, Pawan and Mouli may just lift it a few notches above the mundane, but that's all. Being Ekta's show, it will have tantalizing twists and turns to keep the audience hooked; but let's not expect new insights. This subject has already been handled with a lot more sensitivity in serials like Saans and Justajoo. And let's not forget Hasratein, which was a path-breaking show in its time, showing a married woman having an affair and not being treated as a witch.
