In a conference room the phone was ringing constantly. He was attending an important meeting; so cut the call each time it came. Finally, he decided to take the call as he knew there is no other way out. Until he doesn't pick up she will not rest in peace, to avoid further interruption excused him-self from the meeting. Before he can speak, "hello" said a sweet voice. It was evident in her voice that she was very happy. When are you coming home? You remember today's date right? Today''..He didn't let her finish the sentence and started yelling at her in a loud voice. Without saying a single word Arohi cut the call.

In a moment her smile was gone and sadness washed over her. She felt lonely again; in anger Arohi started taking off her jewelries and threw them on the dressing table. Today is their 2^nd marriage anniversary. She dressed up only for him; she was expecting that at least today he will come on time. They are going to spend some quality time together, but here he didn't even reply to her nicely. Instead he just yelled at her forget about lovey dovey talks or celebrating the day together. Now that was unacceptable; was she asking for too much from him? She only wants to be with him; all she needed is his time that he barely gives her. It seems like he doesn't love her anymore but only his work and work is his wife not her.

Arohi felt he is not her old Arjun anymore who used to wait hours just to see her one glance. Maybe that's why often people say after getting married love fades away, nothing stays the same. Everything was like a beautiful dream till the first few months of their marriage, but when it comes to reality dreams are ephemeral, a dream has to break one day. With passing time things between them are getting ugly, it vowed to become worse only. Arohi can sense everything is slipping away from her hands like sand. It's not only her dream but her life her Arjun is going away from her. The man who stole her heart, with whom she fallen in love hopelessly. Her survival without him is just impossible. She misses the old moments they spent together, she misses being in his arms, his magical kisses that leaves her dazed every time, his touch and caresses, his besharmi, and most of all him. She fears if someday their relationship takes its last breath, just the thought of this shook her and tears rolled down her face.

On the other hand Arjun looked at the phone and sighed. He just called for another fight between them. Her cutting the call without protesting or arguing wasn't a good sign at all. He is a man trapped between work and life. Obviously he remembered today's date, how can he forget the most important day of his life. Today was the day when his angel became his forever; she entered his life as his wife. Well Arjun actually planned something very special for the day and neither had he had any plans of attending a meeting at this hour. He only wanted to spend time with her today, so cancelled all the meetings earlier. He didn't even want to come to the office, but this meeting was something uncalled. He couldn't deny as the deal was very important for the company. Before coming here he reminded himself only two hours and as soon as the meeting is over he will be out of there. Now here you go it's 8 at night already, one thing is leading to another and God knows how long it will take for everything to finish up.

It has been so long they spent some good moment together, hell no in past few days when did they even talk nicely. It seems like they are having a cold war between them. He is regretting yelling at her now, he should have more control. After all what is her fault, it is him who is at fault. He is the one keeps busy always, it is his responsibility to keep her happy. She deserves to get his time, she deserves the best. He knows he is failing to fulfill his responsibilities as a husband and somewhere it is affecting their relationship enormously. He wants to give her his full attention; he wants to show how much he loves her, but only if he gets peace from work. He personally doesn't care about money and success, but his life lesson says money is an integral part of life.

He still remembers those days when he didn't have a job. They were newlywed, but instead of taking her to the honeymoon he had to look for a job. Every single day was hard on them, when she was supposed to enjoy her newly married life with him; she was struggling to make a survival with him. He doesn't care what he went through, but her pain he can never forget. He always saw concern in her eyes, it wasn't about their future but it was about him, his struggle, and his pain. Her worries made him worried. He realized one thing if money can't buy everything, but it can buys many things. Most importantly in your need no one gives you a helping hand, for every single penny you have to literally beg. He doesn't want to repeat the life experience once again, it's not like he will not have money at all but why take a chance. The only thing he wants now is to provide her with all the comfort and luxuries that he couldn't provide earlier.

Though, he realized in this process he isn't becoming able to keep her happy. He is hurting her emotionally and today was the least thing he wanted to do. If anyone can tell but only he knows what she meant to him. Without her his life is meaningless, she completes him, she is his soul mate. No matter what he needs to take her all pain away. To him-self with determined voice "I'll talk to her today and clear all the misunderstandings we have; I know she loves me too much to not forgive. I'll make her mine again just like before and give her Arjun back said with a smile on his face"; taking a deep breath he went to the conference room again.

Arjun was now standing in front of the main door of his house; he glanced at his wrist watch. He repeated to him-self 12 at night, you are so dead today. He didn't ring the doorbell cauz he knew there was no use. She would never open the door or neither would talk to him, so he used the key. He entered the house like a thief with light footsteps; he was hoping that she is not sleeping. He checked in their bedroom, she wasn't there. Then she must be in the balcony and there she was sitting on the comfortable rocking chair with closed eyes. Her head was leaning towards the back; he stood right behind her and bending down brought his face close to her neck. Sensing his warm breath she opened her eyes and before he could take any further action she instantly got up from her place. Now her back towards him, Arjun didn't know how to start, so he said let's cut the cake. For what? Jaan what type of question is that today is our wedding anniversary. Oh so now you remember that it's our anniversary so why not celebrate right. You didn't remember when I called you and for your kind information it was our anniversary, not anymore. You think you are going to come at midnight, announce its celebration time and I'll put up with your ideas. Do I have feelings or don't I saying she left from there and went to the bedroom.

Arjun let out a big sigh; she was making it more difficult for him. He followed her behind, once in the room he said with a soft voice Arohi listen it doesn't matter when or how we spent our day but what matters is our togetherness. Exactly, you are right Arjun all matters is if we are together, but I only wish we were. Now he was getting angry'.with little loud voice what do you mean by that? Living as husband wife doesn't mean we are together; to be together two people need to spend time, share each other's feelings, there has to be love between them. Arjun now lost his temper, how can she say that there is no love between them. You know what then you are also not my Arohi because my Arohi understood me without my saying anything. He closed his eyes as he said those words because it caused him pain inside his heart. Hearing those words from him Arohi let out a whimper but instantly covered her mouth with her hand. She can't fall weak now, not at least in front of him. She needs to show him that if he can think of living without her then she can also do. Well who they were kidding to because they both knew it was impossible for them to live without each other. You know ego, it can mess many things now it's a person or a relationship. Arohi realized today was the end of their relationship, finally her biggest fear came true, she lost him, she lost everything today.

Wiping her tears she said you are right there is no point for us in staying together because we are not meant to be. If we stay together it will only cause pain to us, so we better separate our ways. Hearing noises he turned to see what was happening and the next thing came from his mouth was what the hell are you doing? She didn't say anything just keep putting her stuff in the luggage. Now it was beyond the limits he thought, he approached her and said do you think I'm going to let you leave so easily not until I'm alive. Arohi moved towards the cupboard again when he held her wrist and pulled her towards him, I'm talking to you damn it answer me. Hearing the knock on the door Arjun opened his eyes; it took him a minute to take in his surroundings. That's when it hit him that he spent the whole night in his office. The flashbacks of last night came back to him and with a jerk he got up from his chair. He was restless, "this can't be the end of their relationship, our love is not so weak, I have to win her back at any cost, I just have to, I'll not give up on us" these were the lines he was mumbling as he made his way out of the office ignoring his peon's calls. He drove like crazy as if he doesn't reach the house now he will lose her forever. He shot open the door; it didn't register in his mind that the door wasn't lock. He called out her name Arohi Arohi but no response. He checked every single room and then went to the terrace still no Arohi. Suddenly he ran to the bed room and there he saw what he feared, her luggage wasn't there. That means only one thing she was gone, she left him all alone. He was cursing him-self for his stupidity, he should have thought about it if she puts something on her mind then she doesn't give up so easily. Without waiting a moment he went out to search for her because she was too precious for him to let go.

Since last three hours he searched like maniac, every single possible place that she could go, he took different roots hoping he may find her somewhere. He also called her parents and least to say they literally threatened him that they will not leave him if something happens to their daughter. They knew he can't keep her happy, he ruined her life and so on'..Right now Arjun could least bother about what they say because his only concern was Arohi. Receiving disappointment from everywhere he went to them (Romit-Shefali) who were his only family after Arohi. As soon as they saw Arjun they knew something was wrong, so they made him sit and Arjun told them all the problems between Arohi and him, by the time he finished his voice cracked.

Now it was Shefali's turn to speak, she listened to Arjun very carefully. After hearing him it was time to bash him for what he did to her best friend. Seriously Arjun you did that to her, I just can't believe you would have done something like that. Only God knows where she is right now, if something happens to her I'll never forgive you. You all men are same, before marriage you droll over your girlfriends like love struck puppies. You make them feel like princess and once they become your wife, all your love just washes away like rain water. I don't even know why I'm getting married to you; Romit was dumbfounded by his soon to be wife's sudden outburst, he didn't expect that from her. Shefali listen it's not the right time to talk about all this, our first priority is now to find Arohi. He hoped she would have some mercy on his poor friend. On the other hand, Arjun was lost in his own world tears constantly flowing down his eyes. He was intently looking at a picture of Arohi. Shefali glanced at him, looking at him she felt bad now, she knew Arjun wouldn't hurt Arohi ever knowingly but couldn't stop herself when she heard all this that too from Arjun.

Shefali went near him, she could hear him chanting "I lost her forever, I lost her". Shefali knew what he meant, Arohi was very stubborn but she also knew her stubbornness isn't bigger than her love. She loved her Arjun beyond limits and Arjun Arohi's love was a set example during their College years. Romit also came from the other side and to support Arjun both of them hugged him together. He needed his friends' support badly but still nothing could make him feel better unless he finds Arohi safe and sound. To lighten the mood Romit said now stop being senti and think about a plan. It's very simple Shefali said with excitement in her voice, why not we spread the news through Radio Center and it's Arohi's favorite show, so you never know she might be hearing it. Arjun looked up with a glint in his eyes, at the same time Romit said the RJ is also a good friend of yours, so there shouldn't be any problem. After an hour finally they got a call what Arjun felt like ages, the call was from a couple'.Mr. Salil and Mrs. Purvi Mittal. Arjun listened very carefully what Salil was saying, before he can finish Arjun fall on his knees and the phone fell from his hand. Arjun felt someone took out his heart from his chest, he couldn't breathe, he felt weak, he felt like a lost soldier. He wasn't in his senses and silent tears were escaping from his eyes. Romit picked up the phone from the floor and his face also fell, he cut the call and said Arjun get up we have to go to the hospital, Arjun are you listening to me, Arjun. They keep calling him but he didn't utter a single word. Finally Romit said Arjun for the last time get up, Arohi needs you, hearing her name Arjun looked up and Arohi escaped from his mouth. With all his strength he got up and ran outside, Romit and Shefali followed him behind.

On reaching hospital he ran for his life, he didn't even bother to park the car. Since Salil gave all the information he also didn't need to ask anyone; his legs came to a halt on reaching her room. Arjun closed his eyes and opened the door slowly; he entered the room with closed eyes. Once in the room he opened them; there was in the bed laying his life with closed eyes. He closed the door behind him, hearing the sound Arohi looked at his direction. Their eyes weren't leaving each other for a single moment, with his each step towards her he "Thanked God" for keeping his love safe. She tried to get up, but before that he ran to her and made her sit on the bed comfortably. He sat on the bed near her, he took hold of her hand, his head was bend downwards, bahut bura hoon na mein. Mein to tumhe kush bhi nehi rakh paaya, sifr dukh aur dard deta raha, mein tumhe deserve nehi karta paar phir bhi kya tum mujhe maaf kar sakogi. Aapne liye na sehi mere liye, I need you, please don't leave me I'll not be able to live then. Arohi cupped his face and made him look in her eyes. Both of their eyes were red from crying, she said sorry mujhe bhi tumhe samjhna chahiye tha, pata nehi mujhe kya hogaya tha, but from now on we'll understand each other...Arjun nodded...You'll be with me always na...he said forever...Don't fight with me...never...you'll never stop loving me right...no...wht...I mean ha ha...mera matlab I'll only love you forever hamesha...she slapped on his arm playfully. He hold his ear sorry...kisliye...for everything. He continued you know I found the real meaning of "Zindaagi Naa Millegi Dubaraa" today'when I found out you left'then your accident'all those hours I spent witout you made me realize that if your life goes away once you'll not find it again. He kissed her forehead, the place where she was hurt, and then her eyes, nose and finally he kissed her on the lips. He laid his head on her chest and she was moving her hand on his hair softly. His two hands were holding her protectively. He whispered something to her and she said besharam. This was her Arjun and it was their life. Today Arohi got her Arjun back and Arjun found his life for the second time. They were one of those fortunate couple who got second chance in love, may be it was their love that failed the term "Zindaagi Naa Millegi Dubaraa".~~~
