Loved loved loved the Virika scene today; totally unexpected especially since we knew about it through SBS. The Virika scene was beautiful, the CVs have actually presented the completley cliched scene in a absolutley different light (OMG can't belive I am actually complimenting CVs). This is what I want more of; the show pushing the normal boundaries of the cliched and typical plot lines; what made this show so special - the ability to present reactions to situations which every Tom, Dick and Harry can relate to.
I know some people thought the scene was a bit forced, that's their POV, but gosh, I absolutley loved it - not because I love Virika - but because the actors are fantastic. I nearly avoided watching the scene because I knew what would happening, in my mind it felt like it was going to be really awkward but onscreen, wow, it was completley opposite. You're genuinley celebrating with Viren despite the fact that nothing is black or white. This is how a normal person would react; they are presented as human, so despite following logic, its perfectly reasonable to jump to conclusions when the evidence is staring you in the face. You may be anti-pregnancy track wise, but Tacker makes you forget that and you see things from his perspective. Once again, this is why I love this show - the ability of the actors to engross the veiwer, and make them apart of the story. They cry, you cry; they laugh, you laugh, they're angry, you're angry; they're happy, you're happy...
So that's why I loved the Virika scene; the plot is a bit rubbishy at parts but the way it was portrayed - kudos to KD and KT. And the other thing -> VV-VV! I adore these two, their interaction is completley genuine. The minnutest detail does not escape their attention - Viren's realised what both Virat and Manvi have failed to realise. And absolutley loved the last bit, where Virat understnads straight away about Viren's anxiety over Jeevika. These two will kill me one day with their bond =]
(In terms of pregnancy wise - wow, it's sooo unpreictable; she could be, or she might not be. I'm not gonna speculate and I'm not gonna be for or against it because I'd like to see how the CVs pan this out [= but somehow I know that the CVs might just butcher this aswell... )
