Why is every reference to GHSP treated so suspiciously...😕 Does being a Geet fan automatically make you a PV hater...🤔 The TM just stated his/her opinion about the way marriages are shown on Indian TV!! I agree comparisons are unnecessary but for once can we not just take things at face value without looking for hidden agendas...😊

@ the TM...I agree some things have been dramatized a bit but a couple getting married for the sake of their children is not something unheard of in our society. A nanny cannot provide the same love and guidance that a parent does. A son or daughter being pressurized by their parents to get married is again very commonly seen. All that was shown was a reflection of how people think and react in the real world. Yes it was made a bit more dramatic to grab eyeballs or else it would have looked like a documentary...😆 I agree on the part where Yash & Aarti should have met and known each other's views because since they are going ahead with this marriage solely for their children its of utmost importance that they ensure the person they are getting married to is fit enough to become a parent...🤔

Most of the K-serials used to make mockery of marriage, like same vamp/ lead getting married to mutiple brothers/ sisters in the same family for no effing reason or marrying for no rhyme or reason.

However there is def growth in the way marriages are being handled by serials these days. The serials arent the same anymore and marriage is treated in a different manner, though not necessarily with maturity.

Like things shown in BALH - marriage of convinience does happen in real life. Again arranged marriages with no compatibility also still happen. But not all serials stick to what happens in reality and survive

TV shows always seem to have a larger than life effect and though it might seem that audience will be able to relate to it, but not necessary that it will be of any truth, which is why we get attracted to them the first place.

We want to know how the leads get to gether despite these obstacles and how they finally understand each other, fall in love and make their marriage a sucess
Don't know if I'm making any sense here.

Just want to understand, why people are getting offended with comparison with Geet. Is it bcoz TM only praised Geet and pointed flaws in others? I mean if s/he pointed out flaws in Geet, would people have stopped bashing the post?
I mean the points raised by TM do seem to be valid for a healthy discussion..maybe could have done without mentioning any serials at all, but I think it is fine as long as the message is conveyed.

@sukri
I am guessing that this has something to do with the rule against."comparison posts". I suppose that rule is in place because people take all this very personally and very seriously and brook no disagreements!
I agree with you, I found some points the TM raised to be quite valid and interesting. I personally don't see why they shouldn't be discussed because of some perceived bias. but thems the rules.
