unfair elimination :/ I hate varun but ...

Wow, hating a contestant. Hating is too STRONG a word. Not sure why anyone would hate a contestant if they don't know him/her personally?

Varun may not come across as hugely friendly, but its preposterous to hate someone because of that. It may just be his personality that he is reserved. Oh, plus, he definitely has language barriers.

Varun has been a true professional who is dedicated to his art. DID's platform is a professional one and varun has always meant business (meaning giving solid performances without any sob stories), which in my opinion is totally legit.

Again, just expressing my view.

He doesn't speak much because of language problem. I am sure even we would have been like him if we were doing a show in Kannada.

What do you mean when you say Sneha is a selfish performer..when it comes to her team..she puts no effort? 😕 What does that mean? I'm genuinely confused..

varun is from south india, its a trend on DID they do not get votes coz DID probably isn't much watched there and they are eliminated. kruti was also eliminated second in season2.

SELFISH? That girl is one of the VERY FEW GENUINE and SOULFUL performers this season...unbelievable to read her being labeled SELFISH *shakes head hopelessly*

How does Varun not come across as friendly? He is ALWAYS smiling and cheering for everyone...the bond b/w TKT clearly shows how much they are all always there for each other so how is he not FRIENDLY? WHAT is "friendship? Doing stupid nautanki to grab eyeballs? Then I'mvery glad that he's NOT "friendly".

Varun and Sneha are two of the most GENUINE contestants this season...sad that that quality is not appreciated much in today's world. I think Varun is very close to all of his teammates...especially Pradeep, Piyali and Raghav.

I concur with you on the point that HATRED is such an EXTREME emotion even if you don't like a contestant...sad to see such strong words being used pointlessly.

I always knew Mithun-duh's judment was impaired. But it could be so impaired that he kept that goofball Vaibhav over Varun, that I had no idea of..

Sad.. Now better do a favor on all of us Mr. Duh, and eliminate Vaibhav next week. And Pradeep isn't fascinating either. It's painful to see his performances.

Hi @nureat01: I didn't mean to say "Varun may not come across as friendly" in a negative way. I'm sorry if it sounded negative.

I exactly meant what you said. Varun doesn't do any stupid nautanki (like a few others).

To me, Varun has always maintained a very professional attitude. He means business, which means dance and which is what the purpose of DID is.

There haven't been unnecessary episodes of Varun's family or friends on the show (as has been the case with a few other contestants).

I have always felt that Varun is a strong professional and a strong dancer. He has always been cheerful.

I hope it helps.

On the other hand, I totally discourage inviting a contestants parents on stage and asking them to narrate their sob story. By doing so, the DID team only encourages bias in the voting process.

It was sad to see Varun go.
