Ace Anchor: Celebs share moments when they resent being one
A celebrity's someone who all his life has worked to get recognised only to hide behind dark glasses later. Chasing the limelight to eventually ducking the glare is an amusing turnaround. While none discount the appreciation, sometimes untimely fan ardour deprives them of the joys that come from being anonymous.
She may be India's answer to Jennifer Lopez but for Malaika Arora Khan, her time with son Arhaan is sacrosanct. She says, "You attend a school function and somebody clicks you, you happen to be at a park and some photographer happens to be there…just these instances hassle me." For Rohit Roy too, no role is larger than playing dad. He says, "When I visit my daughter's school, I want to be just a father." He rues that he hasn't been able to visit Omelette, a favourite foodie joint of his pre-stardom years.
Nothing ruffles Sonu Nigam more than an entire page dedicated to 'fabricated articles' about his alleged separation from his wife. Sonu reasons, "I've not been caught smooching a woman, nor do I have an unlicensed revolver, so why be nasty?" Anup Jalota often wears T-shirts and jeans to avoid being recognised. He laments, "We could be watching a film when people come and discuss music."
Rahul Bose dreads intruding moments. He says, "Sometimes it's more funny than irritating. Like when you're in a toilet and somebody greets you and you're not in a position to oblige!"
As Rahul says these are mere 'pin-pricks' compared to the bumper perks of this privileged status.

Thanks yaar.

Yeah, it must be annoying cause I'm sure celebs would like to lead a 'normal' life away from the limelight. But then again, its the fans who give them their name and fame. I guess there's a price to pay for all that fame and popularity. But fabricated and nasty articles on a celeb's personal life gets a 👎🏼

Yes megha,i had read ur comment and i was really happy to know tht there r people like u who who use logic before they believe something👏

And even if it was any body else instead of rupu, like meenal or antara or amey,i would still not believe it because i know tht none of these upcoming singers would dare to insult lataji who is the goddess of music industry.
