Rahman composes theme for Worldspace Radio

After tugging at many heartstrings for a mobile phone company, now music maestro A R Rahman is strumming it up again.

This time, it's for Worldspace radio.

For the Mozart of Chennai, getting the right tune is not all about striking the right note.

With over 12 Filmfare awards to his credit, his musical genius literally transcends boundaries. From films to musicals to jingles, Rahman is riding high on the chart topping success of Rang De Basanti.

"I didn't anticipate it. It's really great," he said.

Currently working on the score for Mani Ratnam's Guru starring Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai, Rahman says the project has him excited.

Mani Ratnam and ARR together is always a great combination, Saathiya as a movie was awesome and it's music was beautiful.
