Even if khushi would have wanted to live with Shyam, she would not have deserved this. She may be labeled a home breaker, immoral, loose woman but her abuse on the hands of the show's lead would still not be acceptable.

Even mamiji who is a negative character in the show does not deserve any ill-treatment or slap or abuse from Mamaji or anyone.

I am not saying Arnav cannot feel anger or hatred towards khushi, but he can do it in a way that does not teeter towards domestic abuse. Would he have dared to do anything like this if Khushi had a rich and powerful brother or uncle or dad? No.

She is helpless, recently orphaned because her so-called family deserted her. Kicking her mental gut at a time like that is not MANLY. Why can't Arnav do it to Shyam? Shyam is an equal participant in this equation?

Is abuse now the only way ASR can FEEL real love later? There are many more creative and better ways to show hatred and anger, abuse is not one of them. He can stop talking to her, be indifferent to her, let her be on her own, keep his distance, not answer her questions, leave the room when she wants to talk, tell her to leave him alone etc. But pushing, shoving, pulling, throwing her out of the room, leaving her out cold when we dont even do that to our dogs in Delhi winter is not how it is done.

It doesn't matter what Kushi did or going to do here. It even doesn't matter what ASR thought of her or going to think of her in the future.

and i agree if with Smriti even if she was a home breaker she does not deserve this ...I mean come on ...a second chance to shyam ...aap khush rehna seekh lo with di and her baccha...and for khushi not even basic decency ...so Arnav wants Shyam to lead a normal happy life with his biwi baccha and poor khushi she should be condemned to the fires of hell...why should the "other woman" be always bad...the man should be more guilty ...he was the one who broke wows and promises not the so called other woman ...

he is not so frogiving , he will punish those who hurt his sis

he is punishing shyam in other way but lets not talk abt that that is a different story to discuss

First, its not Arnav's place to punish khushi. Who was he to her? He didn't say he loved her? He didnt promise her marriage? She had feelings for him and she felt it reciprocated, thats it.

She was no one to him but he dragged her into this mess. If she was indeed having a relationship with Shyam, then Arnav needs to settle this with Shyam because Shyam is his relative, his sister's husband and the one who is really committing a crime against his sister. If Khushi wanted to have a relationship with Shyam and she insisted he first leave his wife, then she may be immoral and a home breaker but certainly not deserving of abuse.

Somehow, our society just assumes that an immoral woman can be treated any which way people want. As I said, EVEN MAMIJI should no be treated with anything less that common decency and dignity. Nani scolds mamiji all the time, but she never abuses mamiji.
