Barricaded Hearts !!

Definitely today's episode belonged to Abhas and Sanaya Irani ...

The episode opened with Shyam beginning to move his pawn, the all powerful Rani saheba..who seemed to be in accommodating mood and appeared to be pliant to his wish .. Anjali sweetly sends Shyam on an errand, eraand of assembling everyone in the hall..Shyam departs to do Rani Saheba's bidding pleasantly dreaming that Arnav's castle is about to collapse ... Soon everybody gather in the hall where to Shyam's intense chagrin and incredulity, Anjali turns the tables , crushing his wildly soaring hope, lays a condition for validation for marriage which is accepted thankfully by Khushi and quietly by Arnav...

I loved the hall scene.. Nani and naathin placed opposite each other..Naathin unable to meet her eyes, looking everywhere but not at her, very much aware of her censure while Nani sniffs and turns her head away from her fav Grand Son who has been sent to stand in the corner ...The other scene I liked was Khushi coming down the stairs ... she comes towards the assembled group ...heads straight towards Arnav and stands beside him..not a sec of hesitation,not wasting time looking for welcome, Khushi knows her place is by Arnav and she goes there.. her partner, her companion ..Abhas for the quick changing expressions , the look of visceral hate whic quickly softens as he sees Khushi appearing which again turns to gloating smirk at Arnav as Anjali announces that Khushi cannot be R Bahu and gets quickly deflated when Anjali continues adding that Khushi has to complete the ritual of welcoming the Bahu of Raizada's... ...Sanaya Irani was flawless in her execution today, The shocked hurt when Anjali rejects her turning into relief, thankfulness, bliss as she finds her anchor again as she once again belongs to a family...she is rootless no more, orphan no more...Si conveyed Khushi beautifully...Kudos to the director to for giving the lil touches as when Khushi turns immediately towards Arnav as she gets the Bridal wear, seeking his permission, Arnav looking at her, puzzled at her tears ..Each talking thru their eyes while the family ceases to exist for them...NK getting up in shock, concern writ large on his face quickly turning into a happy grin as things smoothens for Khushi ... a quaint and lovely touch..


Khushi goes and sits on the bed, her hands caressing that token of acceptance as her mind races back to those dreams she had cherished about her Rajkumar, tears trickling down her cheeks, when her real Rajkumar albeit a prickly one walks in, halted momentarily by her tear stained face, Guilt overcomes him and he averts his eyes...embarrassed, not yet comfortable in having to share his personal space..Arnav seeks to erect a barrier between him and Khushi..He instantly goes and sits by his laptop , ignoring her , her presence hoping that persistent ignorance will make her go away...Khushi who had been gazing unblinkingly at his back for the past few mins has had enough and decides to shake him out of his ennui ..Like an angry tornado she dashes towards him, but Anjali's knock puts a break on her path..Anjali comes and gives the jewels to Khushi as part of Bridal accessory, notifies them both that they are expected downstairs and leaves...Again a quick sidelong exchange between the couple, letting the confrontation go hang, Khushi leaves to get ready, Arnav being intensely aware of the rustle of her lehenga ...Khushi comes out , sits by the dressing mirror , while Arnav's reflection is seen in the mirror furiously pretending to work but his clenching jaw, his fidgety moments betray him, ..his heightened senses are strongly conscious of even the slightest tinkling of her bangles ..when the neck piece hurt her and she gives out a cry, he is immediately on his feet, ready to help her, no thoughts, no thinking just reacting to her cry of pain ..


Loved this segment too ... The FB part not only notable for the way it was strung together ..The journey beginning from Gupta house and ending in Raizada manor ..her final destination , her chosen destination but also the FB's began with the memory of the person closest to her heart Payal ..finally ending with the Successor of her heart Arnav !!..Second was the fact how comfortable and how quickly she has accepted her destiny, the destiny of being Arnav's Singh Raizada's wife ...cos when He comes in, A khushi who would jump to her feet is found sitting calmly on his bed as if she belonged there and she did belong there ...Third A khushi who had previously rejected jewels from Anjali clearly demarcating herself as an outsider [during Diwali ] now accepts it without any qualms for it and she belong together,belong to Raizada's ...


Arnav awaits by the door , curious despite himself as his eyes remain glued to the spot where his wife would walking through ..Not keeping him waiting any longer, Khushi comes in, demure, radiantly beautiful, looking like a Princess ..A perfect match for him ...A pause, Khushi lifts her troubled eyes and looks at him, unable to assure her or answer her, Arnav turns away ..however he cannot resist her allure for long and his eyes automatically swing towards her ..Khushi comes , stands beside him ...They stand looking at one another... his eyes holding a hint of admiration, distance, anger ..The aarthi is done, Anjali orders Arnav to follow Parampara of welcoming the Bride in by carrying her over the threshold ..A smouldering Arnav , easily lifts Khushi, A Khushi who is cringing at this ritual for she very well knows that she is not welcome inhis house or in his heart... Timidly Khushi looks at his face , hoping to see some softness, some sort of assurance , fails to find anything on his stone cold visage...Hesitantly, nervously Khushi slowly trails her hands up and holds on to him while Arnav carries her across , firmly stamping her as the Bahu of Raizada 's, as his Bride , as his consort ...Khushi is welcomed into the home of bricks n mortar but the hearts remain barricaded !!


At Last we saw them standing side by side , shoulder to shoulder as couple..what interested me was the placements, hitherto...Khushi would be in the center , right behind her or at slight distance would be Arnav , blocking Shyam...who would be with Anjali..but today we saw Arnav and Khushi together , with Anjali being the barrier between Shyam and this duo !!..Also loved the shot of Arnav carrying her and walking ahead past Shyam , suggesting he will be battling on her behalf and will not allow anything to deter him..


Arnav quickly drops her after the ritual, proceeds to leave her , fate will not let go off them so easily... Khushi's earrings are stuck on his blazer which Khushi is unable to remove ..Tamping down on his boiling temper , He deftly removes the earring, walks away leaving her alone in the hall


Loved the shot of Arnav quickly pushing her hand away from his coat, her touch intolerable for him to bear but when she cries out in pain...not withstanding his monumental anger, his hands gently clasps around her hands, tugs gently at the ornament hurting her and frees her from pain...does this imply that Arnav may reject her initial overtures but will later accept her hand , will always be there to alleviate her pain...May be !!

SI and Abhaas were really good today...even when Abhaas was not in focus, his emotions were conveyed really well...also SI conveyed all the pain she is going through her eyes and her body language was also really good👏...
And also Mamiji had me in splits😆 during her convo with Shyam...

Also noticed that only after Nani spoke Arnav proceeds to lift Khusi...did notice a small relief on his face...finally the ones he cared for the most accepts his decision.


Another thing that crossed my mind when Arnav -Khushi were doing the gruhapravesh scene...
When he put her down without care ---> Arnav treating Khushi without any concern...like marrying her without giving her a reason.
pushing Khushi's hands away -->Arnav distancing himself from Khushi, again not providing any answers.
When he moves away and she cries out in pain---> Even though he tries to distance himself, he is bound to her in some way...and cant tolerate her pain.
Khushi trying to free the earring herself ---> indicating she might want to solve the Shyam problem herself without anyone's help.
Arnav stopping her in between gently and frees it himself --> symbolizing that he will never let Khushi deal her problems alone and he will always be by her side. Her problems will be his own and he will complete the task that she has started.

Also loved how shyam was made to decorate the room for his so-called 'love' with another man👏...and showing all the frustration on the rose petals...and not able to do anything to stop it...also the use of flashbacks with ASR warning him to stay away from Khushi👍🏼

Tant, barricaded hearts indeed. Today Khushi is welcomed to the house and I hope that day should come fast when she will be welcomed to her home.

I loved the way you explained this scene where Anjali guarded Arnav-Khushi from Shyaam who was looking towards the three. It reminded me of my analysis where I mentioned there will be one day when Arnav will have his two women beside him. I felt the camera angle here promised me that. 😃 😃 😃 What do I say about your analysis??? As I always say, it's TANTASTIC. 👏 👏 👏

As I promised I'll combine wed and thurs episode and try to keep it short.

The morning had broken indeed for Khushi and Arnav and the whole family like the first morning. The first rays of sunlight over the horizon had greeted them with that same peace and hope, but it was up to them to savor it. How would they welcome it??? with praise? or with depression??? Would they stop to hear the blackbird's song? It's a new beginning for them. A rebirth for Khushi and Arnav. A dawn of a new life.

I loved the continuation in the episodes. After the terrible news to the family we see the day started with the aarti to the Deity. All freshened externally, but still devastated internally. I liked the difference between them and Khushi. Khushi was still in the same attire. How can she change her attire?? Changing would mean her forcefully wanting to acclaim the position in the RM as ASR's wife. That's not Khushi. That's not her bringing up.

As I mentioned, my heart went out to Arnav yesterday. Yeah, the one man who is the "Guardian Angel" to the homestead of all is forsaken by all. If that is not destiny then what is? I know he is answerable to all but I also know that he is the most emotional of them all; even more emotional than his two closest being, Anjali and Khushi. To cover that character trait he acts as an Iron Man to others. Arnav sees the world wrong and thinks in one direction. His mind gets blocked when he gets stuck. Yeah, he is killing Shyaam and Khushi for hurting Anjali but at the same time he is dying a thousand deaths alone. He is abandoned by his family, a family who claims to know him thoroughly but when a disaster hits them they don't even think for a second to understand why he did that. This is reality. Also I know when this same family will come to know about the reason behind his impulsive act they will be the first to again criticize him for not involving them in this tragedy. That's also another facet of a FAMILY. Isn't it an irony? This is the reason every one of us love our families. This is the reason each one of us cannot stay without our families. This is the reason we sacrifice our life for our families yet we do it with open arms and with a broad smile and have no qualms about it. If Payal and Aakash would have been in Khushi and Arnav's place even they would have done the same thing without any doubt. That's family.

Another thing I loved is the comparison between the two siblings' pairs. I thank the director or the brains behind the storyline who proved me and Tant right. Yeah, we said Payal will not misunderstand Khushi and she is looking for one clue that will lead her to the reason for Khushi's sudden act. Yesterday we saw how Khushi almost spilled about her sudden wedding with Arnav and at the same moment how alert Payal was. That's called understanding between two people. It doesn't need blood to have a heart to heart connection, it's the soul that matters. On the other hand we see Anjali and Arnav. They are blood related but do we really see them so close in disaster when they both have undergone a disaster??? From my perspective, they still haven't overcome from that disaster. The scars are still there. IMO, it is the miscommunication that triggered. Arnav have become more and more protective for Anjali and she rather being a friend to him has let him be that. Like they say if you share the pain it heels otherwise it hits the rock bottom.

How can I not mention the poetic justice for Shyaam. You know "Illusion" is the biggest slap on anyone. Psychotics confuse reality with illusion. Shyaam's illusion that Khushi admires him is going to back fire him one day. The day Arnav realizes this facet of Shyaam, he will have nowhere to go. Here lies the difference between Shyaam's illusion and Arnav's illusion.

Can you believe how strong the feeling of love is??? It has the capability to make you smile and at the same time the capability to make you cry??? The best scene in today's episode I loved in the Bangle scene at the bedroom. How I love the CVs to capture these little subtleties of love. It just took a fraction of a second for ASR to imagine the worst possible conclusion when he saw Khushi in Shyaam's arms (how I am hating to even type this..).😡 😡 😡 With that one sight he imagined how his world came crushing down and his di's world completely shaken. Once again. I wrote above that Arnav and Anajli's wound is not heeled and that is why it had erupted so badly as a volcano that the repercussions are burning everyone's lives like the lava. Yes, we do suffer more from our imaginations than from reality. His imagination of Khushi as a traitor every moment is making him hate himself and his own life even more.

It was that day, when they have experienced their budding feelings for each other. Just after the realization of losing someone so close to his heart made Arnav fulfill all the wishes that Khushi desired for. I loved that day when he himself bought the bangles for her, for he wanted to gift her of first affection; his first desire to own her and make her his; his first desire to smile just for himself; his first desire to fall in love and experience the taste of it. Yeah, that day he loved the "khann khann" of the bangles. He loved every sound of it; he loved every sight of it. He loved the welcome and admiration his gift received from the one it was intended for. It was the first experience of love and the "First memory" of togetherness as this was NOT bounded by any challenge.

And today is the day, the first memory of togetherness has started haunting them. I loved the scene Khushi was wearing the bangles one by one as if she is ripping of Arnav's heart layer by layer. With every "Khann khann" Arnav was recollecting the memory of losing her and the moment there after for he loves her truly. Little did he know that there was one more heart in the same vicinity of his that was also recollecting the same memories of togetherness? For love has the capability to make you cry. Yes, she was more frightened than hurt for she doesn't know the reason of this emotional turmoil. It is very easy to deal with the worst if you know the reality of it but how can you deal with the worst when you have to imagine the reason???If Arnav is suffering from his worst imagination so is Khushi. My heart went out to both of them in this scene. No, the loop isn't closed yet and I hope now the loop will be closed with his Mom's bangles. But, I wish Khushi not to accept his Mom's bangles yet as she knows she isn't here for long and she should decline even if Anjali offers them to her then she can make an excuse that when you all will accept me completely then I'll be honored with that. Anyway, this loop will close with ASR's Mom's bangles IMO.

"Pain reaches the heart with electrical speed, but truth moves to the heart as slowly as a glacier".

Another scene I loved today was when Khushi remembering her dreams about marriage. I never expected the creative team to close this loop with such finesse. The most touching scene was then when Garima was explaining Payal and Khushi the various facets of the same relationship. That relationship is the most sacred one. "Marital Relationship". Yes, she explained the two ways of it. One is when a girl meets her prince charming and lives happily ever after. That is when Payal open the window of future and remembered Aakash. Yes today, she got married with her prince charming and started her own life. The other one is when Garima said that you can only know your prince charming while you spend your entire life with him. Living life with him will give you the answer eventually about your prince charming. Sometimes we feel the sudden decision may not be good to us but eventually we come to know it was destined to happen. We were meant to be together.

Today, is another day when Khushi needs to consume and live the lesson imparted by her Mother, Garima. It was that day when she realized Shyaam's duplicity and broke the engagement; for her DM had other plans for her; for her DM witnessed the lesson taught by Khushi's Mother. When one lesson became true with Payal how can another lesson remain unattended??? Khushi really got married to her prince charming in a fleet but she still is in ambiguity whether life is really fair to her or not. Her dream of a perfect marriage is shattered forever but like her Mom explained there are some marriages where you get the answer along with the days of your life. She will get the answer eventually for as Garima said "Koi farak nehin padta jeevan saathi aacha hona chahiye". Bas, God has a very harsh way of proving it sometimes. Yes, marriages are made in heaven and Arnav and Khushi are destined to be together. The loop is indeed closed.

The pain might have reached their hearts with electrical speed but the truth will surely make an entry into their hearts even if it is travelling in glacier's speed. It doesn't matter how long it takes. When the truth will finally dawn in them I so want to see them both cupping each other's face and shedding tears of joy for they have realized their love and found each other for eternity.

Tant how can forget Shyam n anji preparing SR sej for Arhi...Abhaas was good thr...

Honestly I only had bad taste of Anjali,Nani and Payal. I guess leftover from yesterday,but your post and interpretation just changed the way I looked at Anjali today. I owe you one.!
