Episode begins with Phulwa tucking Abhay in. He reassures dadi everything would be fine as she keeps fretting over him. He asks her about Arjun's accomodation and she mentions the guest room, when Arjun pipes up "Two days only. If I get the money, a few more days of course. Can I see my room?" As he turns to leave, Thakurayn stops him and folds her hands before him, pointing to Abhay and touching his feet (not sure about Arjun but I would've died of embarassment by now). He picks her up and quickly asks for his room again. Arjun follows Surje out.
Phulwa follows him to the room and finds the door locked. When she asks, Surje replies its a new lock. When she asks for keys, Sharbati holds it out, saying it's with her. Arjun looks at her enquiringly, as she says that she wanted to see the famed person. As Phulwa asks for the keys, Sharbati tells her to beg for it, the same way she had to beg for her husband's life. She continues saying it amuses her to see Abhay hurt, and Phulwa in the same condition as her. FB of her begging for Chote's life. (LOL whut this is simply the keys to his guest room. What about the tarpaoing). Phulwa folds her hands (NOOO please no) and Sharbati drops the keys in her hands. Arjun simply observes the whole scene with no particular expression. (I think he's quite amused). She attempts to open the lock but it doesn't work.
Surje is setting up an extra bed in their room (OMG why on earth is he going to spend his days and nights with them; this would be so damn awkward) as Phulwa apologises while Arjun looks on with annoyance.
Phulwa: Could you spend a day or two like that?
Arjun: *nods* Sure, I'll do anything for money. (lol his epic nonchalance and forwardness cracks me upXD). I'll try.
Abhay calls her over, asking her about the guest room.
Phulwa: It wasn't clean...
Abhay: It wasn't clean or someone stopped you from entering?
(Arjun's just sitting in the corner in the sofa drinking from his epic water bottle and possibly being rather bored. He looks bored most of the time lol).
Phulwa: *holds his hand* (Arjun looking at them) Leave it, anyways it isn't like we'll be staying here forever. We'll leave one day to make our life anew elsewhere.
Abhay: *looks at her sadly* What if I am never able to actually bring you somewhere else? If we don't get the money soon, you will also leave me amongst all these people.
Phulwa: Never. Only death can do us apart.

As strange and awkward as it is to have a bored doctor watching AP go on with their own scene, I guess it's mainly to make him understand and feel their pain. But still. It's awkward. If it were me I'd request to get shifted to the balcony instead.

ORP plays as the scene replays, and Phulwa leaves to make tea for Arjun. As she walks out, he casually mentions "Black tea", and Abhay calmly explains, "Chai mein doodh mat dalna".
In dadi's room, Gauri and her valuate their jewellery to 7 lakhs only. Even after giving everything it falls short. Outside the room, Phulwa overhears their conversation and worries. As she sets the water to boil for the tea, her mind is plagued by Arjun's condition and Abhay's words about having to leave him. Surje passing by notices the water bubbling vigorously and takes it off the stove, calling out to Phulwa and asking what if your hand had burnt? She replies, "Fantastic, maybe my haat ke lekiray might have changed." She tells him to serve black tea to the doctor and turns to leave. He tells her that she is the power for people, as long as she's around, nobody loses hope. When she leaves, he prays to a picture of a deity to help a wife as she has helped many people before. He notices the date on the calender and something strikes him.
At dadi's room, Phulwa wonders where to get the money from. Gauri tells her to get an extension but Phulwa says Arjun won't listen. She can't risk him leaving. Dadi hands over her jewellery, telling her to sell it and hand him something. Phulwa starts to cry and refuses it. Dadi tells her if a wife can keep her magalsutra at the mandir for her husband, a grandma can give her jewellery for her grandson. As Phulwa takes the packet, the Thakurayn enters and adds in her own jewellery as well. (Can't you people sell off an antique vase or two?) She and Phulwa hug.
Precap: Downstairs, Thakur hands Kulbushan Phulwa's mangalsutra and tells him to sell it off for money as she looks on in horror.

Surje looking at the calendar gives me hope but I wonder what he'll do. Phulwa's gonna make a ruckus about the mangalsutra for sure meh.
Lol I'm still pretty amused by the fact that Arjun's usually casually observing everything going in the household. Khair if he has to be introed into the haveli as such then he'd have a pretty big role later on. But why AP room?:/
