5 Years later, she still wore the mangalsutra he had placed on her neck, and had on her sindoor, even though she had chosen to live separately and move on. After the full truth of the Shyam fiasco had come out in the open, each member of the Raizada & Gupta family had begged for Khushi's forgiveness. Arnav's pleas to gain Khushi's forgiveness had obviously been the strongest begging her to stay and give him, rather give their relationship a second chance. They couldn't blame Khushi for keeping distant as they knew they had been the cause of causing the distance and had lost their right on Khushi. Payal too was now addresses ad Payalji instead of jiji. Never once did Babuji force Khushi to come back home or even continue insisting as he knew and could feel exactly what Khushi had gone through and knew that she would come back home by herself when she was completely healed from the incidents of the past.
