industry, television stars, on the other hand, are a different kettle of fish.
They sport the prototype 'good girl' image – sari clad, traditionally dressed and spouting long dialogues about Indian values and customs — on screen. But off it, say hello to the bindaas tele actresses of today. These bold and beautiful stars wear their attitudes on their sleeves, speak their minds freely and most of the time, care a damn about set dictates and propriety. And, unlike filmi heroines who act 'holier than thou', these tele stars openly flaunt
their bohemian lifestyles for all to see.

Let's start with the women who have loved and lost 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay's' stud boy, Cezanne Khan. According to the tele-buzz, practically the entire female cast of 'Kasautii Zindagii…' — Shweta Tiwari, Gitanjali Tikekar, Moonmoon and Urvashi Dholakia — have had torrid affairs with this indefatigable lover boy. And now this Casanova has moved on to yet another co-star, Shubha Verma.
So while Shweta Tiwari insists, "There was never anything between Cezanne and me. Has he seen his shakal (face) for him to link himself with me?", the other girls get even by openly bitching about him. Cezanne, who prefers action to words, says, "I think I can safely call myself controversy's favourite child. I will not talk about the rest of the ladies, but yes, I like Shubha. She is very genuine."
Incidentally, the latest tattle making the rounds is of his alleged preference for men. Wonder where that originated from? Perhaps the 'Kasautii… ' leading ladies can tell us more...
Gays, Gigolos & Lesbians
Many of television's top male stars are allegedly either gay or swing both ways. For instance, fingers point at Anuj Saxena ('Kkusum') whose wife walked out on him, claiming that her one-and-a-half-year-old marriage was "unconsummated". They also point at Anuj's good friend Cezanne Khan and many others. Tele actor Manish Raisinghania ('Kahiin To Hoga') too has come under the tele scanner for allegedly being a gigolo. Of course, Manish scoffed off this as "just a prank played by one of his pals."
Sangeeta Ghosh of 'Rabba Ishq Na Hoye', 'Nach Baliye' and 'Des Mein Nikla Hoga Chand' too has had her share of scandals — the latest being called a lesbian. Says Sangeeta, "People said that I had an affair with Aroona Irani. I'm not a lesbian. But it does give me a high when women tell me that they find me sexy and that they fantasize about me!"
