Recap: The gang returns to Mumbai, and college resumes. Samrat is worried as he cannot find a replacement for Vicky, who was the best player on the college basketball team. Mayank helps solve the problem by taking over for Vicky. With the help of Mayank, Excel College's team wins the game. But this angers an oppoment basketball player who hits Mayank. Nupur tends to Mayank's wound in the locker room after the game, and they end up locked in together.

Part 12: Jealous Mayank & Rahul Khanna

It is late at night and Mayank and Nupur are still talking. Well, actually Nupur is doing most of the talking while Mayank prefers to just stare at her. When Nupur notices Mayank staring at her, she gets caught up in the moment too. She looks into his eyes. But alas, that moment is broken by the ringing of Nupur's phone.

Nupur: Hello?

Gunjan: Di, aap kahan ho?

Nupur: Locker room mein.

Gunjan: What??!!!

Nupur: Haan, I was helping Mayank clean his wounds. Aur shayad guard ne humein andar hi band kar liya. Tum please guard se kehkar locker room phir khol do na.

Gunjan: Theek hai di. Aur gang Excel College ki jeet celebrate karne ke liye Dominos jaa rahe hai. Aap aur Mayank bhi saath chalenge na?

Nupur looks at Mayank and mouths "Pizza - celebration" and he nods, thankful that the whole gang will be there. "At least then I will be able to watch out my feelings more", he thinks to himself.

Gunjan brings the guard to the locker room to let Mayank out. They then take a cab to a nearby Dominos outlet. As they enter, Nupur bumps into someone. She feels some sparks, but is not able to catch a glimpse of his face. She only manages to see his eyes

Nupur is mesmerized, however, and remains so throughout the dinner celebration. Mayank doesn't see to notice, as he is lost in his own dreams about Nupur. But, Samrat does manage to catch them both lost deep in thought and decides to tease them.

Samrat: Mayank! Nupur! (he shouts their names) Where are you two lost? Kahin tum dono ek doosre ke bare mein soch toh nahi rahe ho na?

Nupur: (coming out of her trance) Nahi nahi, Samrat. Main bas college ke baare mein soch rahi thi.

Samrat: Don't lie, Nupur. Tum dono locker room mein kayi ghanton ke liye band the, aur ek doosre ko maar nahi dala? Amazing! Bolo, kya hua tha locker room mein? Romance vomance?...

Mayank: Idiot! I will kill you'

Diya: Relax, Mayank. Samrat bas mazaak kar raha tha. Vaise tum kya soch rahe ho? Aur apne khayalon mein itne uljhe huye kyun ho?

Mayank: Kuch nahi yaar, Maa ke baare mein soch raha tha. Woh do teen hafton ke liye Bangalore jaane waali hai. Office ka kuch kaam hai.

Samrat: Haan, bhai. Main toh bhool hi gaya ki Mayank Mumma's boy ha na?

Mayank: Samrattt'!!!!! I will really kill you now.

Samrat: Catch me first, then.

Samrat gets up from his seat and runs out of the restaurant, with Mayank running after him. The rest of the gang laughs. But what Samrat just said has brought even the normally blur Uday to attention. He too begins to question Nupur.

Uday: Vaise Nupur, tum kiske baare mein soch rahi thi? Sach mein college ke baare mein, ya'?

Nupur: Sach mein college ke baare mein hi soch rahi thi. Chutti khatam ho gayi, match bhi hum jeet gaye. Ab projects humpar baras jaayenge. Teachers toh humari vaat laga denge.

Uday: Yeh toh Munnabhai ka dialogue than a?

Diya: Aaarrrghhh! Shut up, Dodo!

The next day at college, everyone is seated in their respective classrooms and is talking excitedly. A new student is coming to Excel College and rumour has is that he is very hot and very much single. And, one of the richest and eligible bachelors, on top of all that.

Someone who has supposedly seen him already comments that he reminds her of Shahrukh Khan. That gets Nupur interested in him, which makes Mayank jealous. Nupur excitedly goes around college trying to look out for the new guy. In her excitement, she doesn't see where she is going and bumps into someone.

Nupur: Sorry'

Guy: Nahi, excuse me'

Nupur (still not looking up): Yeah, yeah' Whatever'!!

Guy: Wow, you have such a beautiful voice. Aapki awaz bohot sundar hai.

Nupur now looks up and seems stunned. This must be the new guy, and damn he is good looking, she thinks to herself.

Guy: Hi, I'm Rahul Khanna. Naam toh suna hi hoga.

Nupur (excitedly): Really? Tumhara naam Rahul Khanna hai?

Guy: Nah.. Main sirf yeh dekhna chahta tha ki tum kaise react karogi. Bhai, jab se is college mein kadam rakha hai toh tum sab ladkiyon ki baatein sunta aaya hoon, ki main Shahrukh Khan jaisa dikhta hoon. Toh bas, I decided to say this line'

Nupur: Ha ha. Tum toh bade hasmukh lagte ho. Asli naam kya hai tumhara?

Guy : Arnav Singh Raizada. And I am pleased to meet you Miss'

Nupur: Call me Nupur.

Nupur and Arnav shake hands, which Mayank happens to overlook. He seems to silently seethe in anger and jealousy. Samrat, Uday and Benji observe Mayank from a distance and smile, finally understanding what Mayank was so pissed off about since morning.

Samrat (thinking to himself): Finally khadoos ko kisise pyaar ho gaya hai. I will have to help him.

Sorry for the crappy update by the way. I wanted to extend it but had writer's block for about a week then just decided to not delay any further any post whatever I had. Hope u liked the part... Don't forget to comment, okay??!!! THANKS :)😃
