Rest assured. BALH is not for only one year. How could you be so speculative.
It is true that the show was meant for only a year. Guys, these other shows like Dekha ek khwab and KTLK and Parvarrish came months after BALH's inception. Sony had no hope in hell, and they were tired of experimenting with fiction shows...then BALH came along. And Bobs your Uncle, Sony was salvaged. 👍🏼
If at all they have some sense in them, They wont let go of this show that easily. Sure Indian Idol is comin along, but it'll be only for the weekends. They wont even dare to mess with soap queen Ekta KAPOOR. EKta Maata reigns supreme, she rules the roost.
The TRPs have been really high for the show. Albeit, off late the ratings started going west, still it is the most watched weekday programme on Sony. You can never rely on CID and Crime Patrol. CID is nowadays a stupid, irrational mumbo jumbo..TRPs will someday be on the wane. Before BALH , its ratings used to be quite LOW! Only now did they alliviate. If they let go of BALH, then wallah, Sony will be relegated back to NO. 4 or even No. 5 spot. And ofcourse, I'll never ever watch the channel again... if they do such a heinous crime... 😡😛
Most Importantly, Ram fortunately happenned to tweet that the show was although meant for one year, the TRPs are very high and that Sony has found light at the end of the tunnel, they have made BALH A 2 YEAR SHOW. 😛 Yes guts he really did tweet.
Well, if on the contrary, they take such a decision (which they most likely wont) then they'll suffer and suffer and soon Sony will be gone forever!!!!!
So chill...Sony's wont even dare or wont even have the guts to do such a thing. That's a dicey task and they are very dependent on BALH!!!!!!
Besides, this is Ekta KAPOOR Mata's show! Cummon, do you expect a show of her's that too extremely popular one be axed off in a giffy?????/
