What is your opinion for CID for all this year?

I'm inclined to vouch for 2011 too, but the distinction isn't that easy. Overall, I do feel it was somewhat better than 2010 - the latter had several terrible episodes that made me want to throw a brick at the TV screen (Galli Cricket..., Maut Ka Aashirwaad, Aadhi Laash and AC-9 to name a few), and several more that got a 1 from me (not to mention the bi-weekly system unveiling its infamous presence). In 2011 though, the worst offenders I can recall are CID in Goa-II and Aaropi Dr. Salunkhe. I seem to have given most episodes a 2.5 or 3 last year. But 2010 did have some very remarkable and memorable episodes like Khoon Ki Holi and AC-8. While I liked the AKAKR finale and the Kolkata episode in 2011 a lot too, I wouldn't put them up with the previous ones. The team distribution took a turn for the worse and a lot of embarrassing melodrama was thrown in as well.

Though if we were to speak particularly for this year (aka, 2012) as said in the original post, I've liked most of the episodes so far, with the exception of the tree-man one and this Saturday's case (which weren't awful though, IMO). They do seem to be experimenting with a wider variety of plots now. If the problems with teamwork and inapt characterization (the melodrama, lab arguments etc.) are worked upon and resolved, I think we'll definitely see further improvement.
