since i don't understand hindi

would u mind include the eng trans for ppl like me?


i feel so sorry to always ask FF writers to include the eng translations,
so, i'd understand if its too much of a hassle for u...

Part V

Arnav and Khushi cast guilt-ridden looks in Nani's direction and followed her gaze.

Before Arnav could reply, he heard Khushi's wound-up tone, "Jee' Nani ji, woh... umm... hum' galti se'. " (English subtitle on request: Nani ji... I... accidentally...) then a pause and silence.

Hmm' Shukar hai... some things she can't explain.

He glared at her, her eyes were trapped in his, and his murderous look immediately shut her up.

"Nani, woh main darwaazaa kholne ki koshish kar raha tha.. aur galti se mera haath glass pe phisal gaya aur'" (Nani... I was trying to open the door and my hand accidentally slipped on the glass, and...) Arnav explained, in a calm voice.

"Aap ko zyaada lagi to nahin?" (Hope you didn't hurt yourself too badly) Nani ji asked, all concerned.

Looking around the room, she spotted the first aid kit lying right next to the chaise.

"Haath aage ki jiye," (Show me your hand) she ordered in a voice that brooked no argument, reminding him of the tone she used on a much younger, more rebellious Arnav, a few years ago.

Rather reluctantly, he stretched his hand forward. It was covered in a handkerchief. "Kuch nahin hua.. Nani.. theek ho jayega," (Nothing happened... Nani.. it will be fine) he tried to explain.

Nani ji walked up to him, unwrapped the kerchief and examined the injuries.

"Haan hume pata hain," (Yes, I know) she interjected. "Waqt ke saath sab kuch theek ho jata hain,"(Everything gets better with time) and she looked up at him, an enigmatic look on her face.

"Khushi bitiya' Arnav ke haath pe malham patti laga dee jiye," (Khushi.. bandage Arnav's hand please) Nani ji instructed.

Khushi dutifully tended to his hand, disinfecting the wound, applying some antiseptic before wrapping up his palm in cotton and gauze.

"Haan' aur Khushi bitiya? Aap iske baad hamaare kamre mein aa jaaiye," (And... yes Khushi, come to my room after you're done) Nani ji added.

"Kyon?!" (Why?!) the words left Arnav's mouth even before he thought them.

Nani retorted in a rather stern voice, "Jab humne aap dono se poochhaa ki aap dono ne shaadi itni jaldi aur aise chhup ke kyon ki' tab humko jawaab mila tha kya?" (When I asked you both why y'all got married secretly, and in such a hurry... did I get a response then?)

She looked first at him and then Khushi. Neither could meet her eyes. Their heads were bent, in what seemed like embarrassment.

"To aap ko bhi hume yeh sawaal poochne ka koi haq nahin hai!" (So you also don't have the right to ask me this question) she remarked, before walking off.

"Aur haan'. darwaazaa khula hi rakhiye! Hum Hari Prakash ko bhej denge' kaanj ke tukde saaph karne." (And yes, keep the door open. I'll send Hari Prakash to clean the broken glass)
