| I was busy doing films so I didn't really get the time for soap. However, I have never taken a break from acting per say. Acting had always been my passion and I am happy the way my career is shaping up. | ||
| How is your association with Balaji telefilms? | ||
| I am really happy working with Balaji. I share a wonderful rapport with the production house and it is great working with it. | ||
| They set an example of an extremely professional production house. | ||
| And I am glad Ekta Kapoor, too, has that much faith in me. | ||
| What do you look for in the script before signing for a role? | ||
| I take a close look at my character and make sure that my role is strong and challenging. The script has to be gripping and interesting from the word go. I am a very meticulous person and that reflects when I read each and every word of the script that has been given to me. | ||
| How did you approach the role of Jai Walia in Kasamh se? | ||
| I have worked hard to bring life to my character. Though I didn't do any special preparations for the role. Jai Walia had me interested from day one and I had that confidence to act him out perfectly. Touch wood! I have been successful so far. Acting comes to me spontaneously . | ||
| How does it feel to be a father? | ||
| It is the best feeling in the world . It feels wonderful to be someone who has a child to care and play with. After becoming a father I have matured as a person and it makes me elated to be with my kid. | ||
| Do you spend enough time with your family? | ||
| Oh! hardly any. I have got packed schedules so it becomes really difficult to spend quality time with them. |
