After watching yesterdays episode and after reading a lot of posts yesterday I decided to make this topic.
Some members are comparing Shyam to ASR.Some are saying ASR is a jerk.Some feels ASR is a negative character.Some feels ASR should be hung till death.But at the end of the day ASR is a fictional character.But seeing so much controversies I thought is ASR the worst male lead of Indian Television.Here are the names of few male leads who were also criticized and hated:
1)Angad(KYPH)-He also forced his lady love in to the marriage.He raped her.But his lady love also have done numerous crimes making their crimes kind of equal.
2)Pratham(Kutumb)-He raped his wife.Though later forgiven by his wife.and the audiences also forgave him.
3)Krishna(Pratigya)-An eve-teaser.Broke the engagement of his lady love.Forced her to marry him.Attempted rape many times.Slapped and tortured his wife.Always mistrust her.But the audiences keep on forgiving him as he has once cut his veins for his lady love.
4)Ahem(saathiya)-Does not accept his wife.Make her sleep on floor.scolds her all the time.Audience keep on forgiving him because his wife worships him.
5)Viraj(Dil Se Di Dua)-Doubts his wife.Tried to kill her Dadi.Slaps his wife atleast 5 times day.But audiences still love him as he is hot.
So now comes our ASR.He has forced an 18 girls in to a contract marriage.The girl is innocent and is used by her family members when needed.Now he has taken the route to marry this girl for 6 months to save her sister.And yes he has threatened the girl to marry him.The girl is being harassed by her family for this.The poor girl even do not know her crime.
Points to be mentioned:This same guy was the one who saved the girls from goons,who helped in fixing her sister's marriage,who carried her every time she fainted,was in the verge of having a heart attack when he thought the girl had an accident.
