OS: After Wedding, Part 6, Pg 30 (Feb 25,12) - Page 5

Arnav gets up from his laptop and walks towards Khushi. He places his hands on her shoulders and turns her around. He is taken back a bit when she sees Khushi, her face pale and body trembling. Not understanding what was going on' he asks'

"Kya hua Khushi?" (What happened Khushi?)

Part 3:

Khushi looks at Arnav, a relief on her face. As soon as she moves forward to hug Arnav, fatigue overcomes her and she faints right in Arnav's arms.

"Khushi, omg what happened?"

He picks up her and gently places her on the bed. Suddenly there is a knock on the door and Arnav opens it to find Anjili.

"Chote, what happened? I just saw Khushi ji running towards the room? Is she alright?"

Over Arnav's shoulder she looks at fainted Khushi on the bed, OMG and runs towards her.

Soon after everyone else comes to the room. Khushi is still unconscious.

Dadi says, "Arnav bitua, what are you staring at. Bring some water."

Arnav gets water and Anjili sprinkles some on Khushi's face and Khushi gains consciousness and sits up.

Anjili says, "What happened Khushi ji, why did you come running to your room?"

Khushi tries to come up with an excuse " Wo Anjili ji, wo humne, I actually saw a mouse outside and ran to my room."

Anjili with a smirk, "Oh so you came to chote for your rescue."

Khushi just looks down and then Payal comes to her. Touching her face she says'

"Khushi, you need to take care of yourself. You didn't even eat anything since morning and so you fainted."

Anjili and Dadi look at each other, then question Payal'

"Payal bitiya, why didn't Khushi eat anything since morning?"

Payal replies, " Ji wo'" and looks at Arnav.

Dadi and Anjili look at Arnav and sigh!!! Arnav who is watching all this, does not immediately understands why suddenly everyone is staring at him.

Then he realizes. Khushi didn't eat anything because she was sad after the halwa incident this morning. Gosh Arnav felt like hell. His little comment about the halwa, had so much affect on Khushi. He didn't even think twice before saying it and Khushi stopped eating. However much he hated Khushi at this point, he never wants her to disregard her health.

After giving a hard look to Arnav, Anjili speaks up, "Khushi ji, this is not good. I will send food upstairs right now and chote make sure she eats all of it."

Everyone leaves and Payal gets food for Khushi, which Arnav takes and moves towards Khushi who is just staring down at her hands in her lap. Arnav sits on the edge of the bed near Khushi's legs and gives her the plate. Khushi hesitantly takes the plate. And then it's like she is waiting for Arnav to go away but Arnav just sits there, staring at her.

"Eat." ' Arnav orders.

Khushi starts taking small bites from the food. Arnav moves away from her and in a minute she gets up from the bed with the plate in her hand and goes to the poolside (which is attached to the bedroom). Arnav is watching this, but doesn't say anything.

Khushi sits on the same chair and lets her tears fall which she has been holding ever since. She had moved out of the room because she did not want to cry in front of Arnav and hear his taunts and get insulted.

Looking at Khushi, Arnav does not want to believe the scene in front of his eyes!!! What has he done? In his effort to save her D's happiness, he has stolen it all from another person.

But didn't Khushi deserve this? She had a relationship with Shyam and had asked him to leave her D. He had seen and heard this from his own eyes and ears. Yes Khushi deserves this. But if she was so selfish why did she agree to marry me to save her sister's wedding?

OMG, Arnav did know what was happening to him. His heart wanted to believe in Khushi but his brain did not let him.

Too confused and baffled by his thoughts, he shuts the laptop and goes out to his car, only to return at dinner time.

As he walks in he sees everyone has seated themselves on the dining table and Khushi and Payal were serving food. He joins them too. And Khushi serves food to Arnav.

Dadi says, "Khushi and Payal bitiya, you have made delicious food. We will get addict to your cooking!! But that would not be a problem, because you are here forever."

Both Payal and Khushi smile and surprisingly Arnav also feels good. Later, he makes sure that he finishes every bit of the food on the plate. He wanted Khushi to see this but Hari Prasad picks up the plate before Khushi could see. And Arnav is a bit upset about this.

Then Arnav stays around the dining and kitchen area, and overhears the conversation between Khushi and Payal.

Payal says "Khushi chalo lets eat."

Khushi replies, " Nahi jiji, I am not hungry yet. You eat and I will eat later."

Payal tries to make her eat but Khushi does not and Payal finally gives up and goes to her room. Khushi obviously didn't want to eat and keeps all the leftover food away and is about to leave the kitchen, when Arnav comes in front of her, blocking her path.

With her hand he orders her to sit on the kitchen table. Obediently she sits and Arnav starts plating the food.

Khushi realizes that Arnav is plating the food for her. But she does not get happy seeing this. In fact she is confused. Why does he care? Why doesn't he leave me alone and let me die. And she chokes.

Immediately Arnav places the plate in front of her and orders

"Eat."

And he sits on the nearby chair. Khushi looks at Arnav and sees that Arnav has a sort of mixed emotions on his face. Anger, Concern and Stubbornness.

Khushi is still thinking with tears almost in her eyes, when Arnav says again

"I said, eat."

But emotions overcome her and she breaks down. Crying, she runs away from him to the temple (mandir), to her Devi Maiya and buries her face on the stairs leading to the temple.

Arnav feels like killing himself and bends his head down at the table, over his crossed hands.

"Mohabbat door jaane na de, Nafrat pass aane na de"

After sometime, Arnav gets up from the chair with a decision in his eyes. She walks up to Khushi who is now sitting up and staring at nothing. He grabs her by the arm, strongly and gently. And walks, not drags, her to their bedroom.

Once in the room, he closes the door while Khushi is just standing near him. Arnav realizes that unlike before, she has stopped revolting and arguing him. Both stare at each other for a few seconds.

Arnav did not know what he was doing and why was he behaving this way. He hesitantly moves closer to Khushi and picks her up in his arms and makes her lie down on the bed.

He puts the blanket on her and says' "So jao Khushi."
