I have never seen a show which outclaims to be "diffrent and modern" which uses so much of violence against women! seriously, what kind of things khushi had to go through because of asr. what he said to her against her charater..and how much he hurt her physically. unbelievable!!! and the lead girl is shown as a surpressed girl without any self-respect!!!
i love the few loving scence between them. but if u put them apart, u can see a disgusting portray of women. very sad!

I dont think I am overreacting here..I know its just a fiction..but it is watched by real people. Its so funny that there are so many people out there which underestimate the power of media and fiction.

and if we are creating million of topics about baruns hairstyle or I dont know the importance of stone which was on the left sight and is now moved to the right sight, than its not "just" a show..than it is seroius matter, but if someone wants to mention something which is linked to reality..than its overreacting👏

i have said this before, but a tragic past doesnt excuse or justify treating people like shite.

@ topic maker...absolutely wonderfully said. A tragic past does not give him the right to shatter someones life... it's no point reasoning with some ppl here because they have blind love for ASR or Barun... I really don't know who?

They are biased enough to support his inhumane behavior. Really pathetic. But it's great what you wrote and I always try writing regarding such issues. Ppl needs to understand that media plays an important role.

Totally agree with you!!
How can Khushi even like someone who called her something close to a prostitute every other day!
Arnav always called her "tumahre jaisi ladki" ...i mean how low of a thinking can he have? shes not that rich, but that doesnt mean shes a gold digger or a prostitute!
And i agree media has a huge influence on everyone and how our society is being shaped. I am from Canada and was very small when I came here...I watch these shows sometimes with my mom or watch Indian movies and sometimes its just a pity on what they show in these. I actually have to ask my mom on if that actually happens in India. I mean for me what is being shown on Tv is whats going to influence my thinking. not just me, my cousins who are in high school watch these shows and they always have so many questions about our society and everything.
One day my cousin was watching Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, she asked me if guys like girls only when they get pretty since Sharukh didnt like Kajol when she was a tomboy and married a prettier girl basically. And then he falls in love with her, when she gets girly and pretty. i really didnt know how to answer that question since what is shown on tv is totally different than what i teach her about being her own self and a person will like you because of what you are and not what you wear. Kids tend not to listen to their elders, but learn a lot from tv. she is not young enough that i can stop her from watching certain things but she is not old enough to understand that this is all fiction and things like these dont really happen in really life. she listens to her peers and learn from tv. and if shows/movies are portraying women like this, then its just sad because our society is being formulated according to what is being shown on media.
