Anjali-Shyam , major confusion!

Hey guy, 😃

im new here and recently started watching the show and ive been trying to catchup old written updates to know the previous happenings, but what i really fail to understand is :

1) how did anjali manage to get married to a good for nothing fellow like Shyam, when she herself is a wonderful person who comes from an affluent family. Is there a back story i am missing???

2) how did shyam manage to get engaged with khushi? i mean shes close to ASR family right? so howcome she wasnt aware of shyam??

sooo confused , someone please put some light on it !! 😳

Shaun used to live as a PG at Gupta's house nd was a kiss up to buaji after khushi dad little mishap Shaun convinced buaji to get shyam and khushi married

We don't know how Anjali ended up with the snake Shyam. As far as Khushi goes, he stalked her and followed her from Lucknow to Delhi and was a fraud. He acted like he had no family and became a PG at her aunt's house. He went back and forth between both homes, fooling everyone. Khushi's father started getting suspicious, followed him and found out about Anjali. Unfortunately, the snake held back her dad's meds and he had a heart attack and subsequent stroke and couldn't talk. Buaji forced Khushi into engagement with Shyam even though we knew Khushi didn't love him, but loved Arnav. Khushi later started to put two and two together, found out his truth, but foolishly decided not to say anything for the sake of her sister's marriage and Anjali. Shyam tricked everyone and more than everyone else, Khushi is the real victim here. Hope that explains it and hope it was ok to answer your question.
