It should be Uttara's decision whether or not she wants the child. Right now, Tara should be her first priority and no one should poke their nose in her 'affairs' 😛

I agree with everyone's pov and I hold Uttara entirely responsible for the situation she is in. When hooking up and lusting with BJ didn't she not realise that i] he was her jija and her sister's hubby,ii] she was a widow iii] she had a teenage daughter who had just bonded with her and what effects her actions will have on the psychologically development of the child. iv] she was too old to bear a child and the society's outcomev] it is possible for her to get pregnant
vi] BJ is unfaithful to his own wife of 30yrs and he could ditch her anytime.vii] in the society she would be ridiculed and outcast if she remarried and had a child that too from her jijaviii] if she did had any relation then she should take any precautions.NO !!!!!! she was acting like a newly young crazy lover who had just met someone who had been able to satisfy her fully and make her feel like a woman. Devyani's and Priya's advices feel on deaf ears. This awkward situation arose just because of her own actions and she should face the consequences herself. She should not be saying that it is the ' paap ki nishaani' 'cos she was the willing partner to that heinous crime. BJ never threatened her or raped her though he used dirty tactics to have Uttara in bed. Uttara used to allow him to come into her bedroom stealthily. It is now a question of what is right and what is wrong. What fault is of that unborn fetus? He / She did not ask to be brought into this world. Then why let the poor one suffer at the cost of others' heinous act. If you had the guts to go the extend of usting with a married man then you have to have the guts of bringing up the child or go on with the abortion and do another 'maha paap'.

Abortion ain't...AIN'T a sin. No matter what those cheesy campaigns would love to have you believe. People abort out of practical problems, and not for fun.
Do you really, really think it would be healthy for Uttara to have this baby? Would it bore well for all those involved---Uttara's daughter, Devyani and her family, and also the child ITSELF? What kind of an existence would the baby lead? Would it be fair to him/her?
I really don't understand the "Emotional Attyachaar" of pro-lifers.
