DE-STRESS MANTRA I cant stand being an obsessive workaholic Thats why TV actor Ravi Dubey regularly takes vacations from work MY PERSONAL DE-STRESS MANTRA IS... Since I practice Buddhism,my personal de-stress mantra is to chant.I try to chant for two hours a day.Other than that,I find playing with children really uplifting, particularly babies,as they are a pure and beautiful life force.I also love to watch all types of movies. IN MY LEISURE TIME I often spend time in solitude, mostly by watching movies and reading.Books,I believe are capable of conditioning ones life tremendously.I do regret not being much of a sportsperson since childhood.I also like to swim but thats once in a few weeks.I love reading, particularly non-fiction and philosophy.I love to know about religion and culture. Two authors that inspire me the most are Buddhist philosopher Daisaku Ikeda (my mentor) and Deepak Chopra. A COOK OR A FOODIE... I am not much of a cook,I stick to being a foodie as I love to eat.I find eating therapeutic.I have a fondness for sweets and can eat a large amount of them.I prefer non-vegetarian food.My favourite cuisine is Indian.I love makke ki roti with sarson ka saag and home-cooked mutton with roti. MY HOBBIES... Dancing, singing, photography, reading and watching movies.I try to watch at least one film a day.I often pen down stuff on my various moods, emotions.I have kept my diary to myself and I seldom share it with friends.Photography is one hobby that Id like to explore but for that Id have to travel a lot.Id have to regularly take vacations.I cant stand being an obsessive workaholic. HOMEBODY OR PARTY ANIMAL... I prefer house parties as I like the privacy of being in a house. In fact, house parties are better stressbusters than discos. However, for a change I sometimes go to clubs. TIPS TO DE-STRESS Its important to consciously be in a state of joy, find time to do what you like doing no matter what you schedule is.I think the first question that you should ask yourself is where does my happiness lie And once you get the answer, get out and do it.
