KKG's characterization is still the worst

i ve only 1 quest 2 all those who support kushi & expect arnav 2 trust & understand her. wat ll ur reaction b if aft marriage akash was two-timing payal & arnav hid it frm payal due 2 some oh so noble intentions. ll u guys still root 4 him & expect kushi & payal 2 forgive him. 4 that matter wat ll kkg do in that scenario. she came & blasted asr once simply coz mami insulted payal. if she can do some much 4 her jiji y cant arnav.

i just hate this double std. if a girl does something wrong & sheds tears the guy s'd b understanding & forgive her. but if a guy makes a similar mistake he must grovel bef her & win back her love.

here i dont want asr 2 forgive kushi easily. i want her 2 earn his trust & win back his love. dont shed tears. shed ur immaturity.

i think i ve used the wrong words & hence ppl find this offending. lemme clarify. i am NOT saying that KKG is bad or that i hate her. all i am trying 2 say is that the writers must concentrate more on her characterization which definitely needs some working upon. i am not telling that kkg also s'd b sullen & akadu like asr or always sport a constipated look like payal. all i am saying is that once in a while show her thinking a little bef jumping 2 conclusions, tone down the OTT antics a little (dont remove just tone it down) & plz make her grow up a LITTLE so that she understands the world a little better. currently even her family takes advantage of her due 2 her naivity 😕 also plz show at least 2 the viewers her true feelings bt arnav. currently her bhak bhak dhak dhak is more like a teenage infatuation of a cute girl suffering frm hormone highs 😕

it was my 1st post in this forum & it earned me a lot of hate mails but i still stick 2 my view which has been emphasized in today's episode.

as a lead KKG's characterization has been the weakest in this show. ppl nitpick mami & garima's character. but these r all just side characters. wat bt the heroine?

1. never thinks bef babbling.
2. never realizes wen 2 get close & wen 2 maintain distance with men b it arnav, shyam or nk.
3. till date cvs ve not shown a SINGLE scene where kushi shows some feelings towards arnav. plz dnt bring up the jalebi feeding incident. she w'd done the same even if HP, Mami or shyam had fainted frm low sugar.
4. always poking/interfering in others' personal affairs & taking stupid decisions w/o their consent. b it her jiji payal, or asr/lavanya live-in or shyam truth. she always knows wat is best 4 others.
5. selective amnesia. either she forgets all the bad things done by others in 5-10 mins or forgets all the gud things done by others in 5-10 mins.
6. never listens 2 ppl. just screams/shrieks all the time w/o giving others a chance 2 talk.
7. always shown running away wen arnav gets intimate with her or tries 2 talk 2 her but never does that wen nk or shyam touches her except 4 1 scene wen she jerked her hand away frm shyam in her house.
8. in typical STAR tradition always shown as stupid & dumb.

naari morcha plz postpone the effigy burning. i am not bashing KKG or the actress SI who portrays her. i am only bashing the way the CVs ve written her character.

the characterization is shoddy to say the least.

P.S 2 all asr bashers i am not a drooler. in his favour at least HIS characterization is consistent. and plz dnt bring his manhandling now. 2 much water has already flowed under the bridge & he has already redeemed himself!

1st learn how 2 write/behave in a public forum. instead of making stupid rude personal comments try to reply to each point raised by me & many others in this forum regarding KKG's characterization & portrayal.

i totally agree with you. khushi's is never graceful, leave alone maturity part. she blabbers so much, at times i feel like she needs a slap.. and very much from arnav.


i always liked the characerixzation of arnav's character more than khushi's.

i wonder what the script writers are doing with her characterization

Kushi is one of the pillars of the show and her character is to bring smile on others. Maturity will never bring happiness to anyone. She is just more than child less than an woman. Her innocence and child like nature are her assets.


1. never thinks bef babbling.

She is impulsive, that's her characterization. She will never think of consequences before she open her mouth, that is her asset. This clearly says she has no evil intentions in her mind.

2. never realizes wen 2 get close & wen 2 maintain distance with men b it arnav, shyam or nk.

She very well knows. She never went near to Shyam, he himself rub on her forcefully. I don't now if you are in her place, I am very much sure you can not even open your mouth. But Kushi is very much brave she knows how to tackle a person. Nk is very child like person just like her, their frequency matches, but she never tried to think from the Nk's corner that is her blind belief in a friend. SHe always poked Arnav, only helped his feelings and emotions come out (either happy or sad) of his heart.

Who falls in love for a Psycho like ASR. Just come to reality and put your self in her place for second and think. He always believes in edges. Its very difficult to cope up with such a personality. She has all the characteristics like non mature, bak-bak, naivety, stupidity etc etc. That is making her persona not affecting much to ASR's wrath otherwise think if she mature... SHe will never fall in love with such a guy like ASR.

If you look at her relation with ASR... for all the physical, mental and emotional torture and abusing her, disgracing her (fashion show tape) he has forgiven by seeing his helping hand.

You know you want to like a mature and intelligent person, but then you need to forget happiness. happiness dies with maturity. ASR needs a lot of happiness to come out of his drak truth's. If she deals with ASR one way and other with some other way... it wont be proper. CV's know that better, that is reason she is being shown like that.

You are not a drooler but your metalitity is like you like mature and typical pratigya like character... but ASR does not need such intelligent Kushi...

i really liked ur post coz instead of bashing me u ve tried 2 b reasonable & replied patiently to all my points. i do confess that i am really tired with the female leads shown on STAR but then of course i ve no business then watching their show. so in a way u r right.

but dont u think its high time now for Kushi 2 grow up a little? till now she has led a v secure/protected life. but once she steps into this big, bad world there ll b so many ASRs & Shyams. Dont u think its high time she really showed some maturity in handling all the situations life throws at her. i never had any issue with her characterization till she resigned frm AR. i guess i was supremely pissed off with that SANSKARI bahu training track which grated on my sensibilities. since then its been a major let down 4 me.

But i dont agree with 2 of ur points. 1st that she has a right 2 interfere in others lives & take decisions on their behalf. Noble intentions apart she just cant do that. in that case even buaji had best intentions wen she decided her marriage. tuf luck that her choice turned out 2 b a creep. how better is kushi's attitude frm tat. i still strongly feel that she & the guptas were v selfish 4 the sake of payal. they s'd ve confided in at least NANI seeing how honest & genuine person she is.

2nd pt though asr has been extremely obnoxious with her in the beginning he has really changed a lot now. even kushi can easily see the transformation & thats y she has already guessed correctly that arnav is bt 2 confess his love 2 her. so dont u think its high time that they showed her true feelings at least 2 us viewers? y she is still stuck in the dhak dhak phase. this is where again the cvs ve stumbled. the way they r showing her reaction its more like a teenage infatuation 4 a complex guy rather than true love. again cvs ve messed up 😕

its khhuhsi she is always bubbly noisy screaming but tht makes her adorable and lovable ifeel soo

I dont know how far i agree with your analysis but what i can say is that there is a little of Kushi Kumari Gupta in all of us.There are times where i agree with her and there are times where i dont but i wont say that she has the worst characterization.Its also a fictional character so inconsistencies do exist but since the good points of the show outweight the bad ones, I close my eyes on some things that i dont like.IPKKND is the best thing which happened to me as an indian television regular soap watcher since a very long time.

I don't want to get into this argument. Khushi has a 'dumb' side to her, and the CVs try to show that. There are several points that one could use to argue for or against each character in the show. Again, depends on your perspective..

However, if Arnav accuses Khushi of sharing an intimate relationship with Shyam, that will be the worst damage done to any character in the history of Indian television. Regardless of how they portray him next, he won't be the character I've loved and admired so much.

Sorry for going off-topic. I know your topic concerns Khushi's portrayal. But it can be something relevant if we talk of characterization in general..

but yaar if u just c cold facts arnav stumbled across shyam & kushi hugging each other. v know wat happened but he doesnt. also the wrong choice of words. finally kushi has 2 bear the fruits of garima's selfishness.

now they just cant justify the fact that they hid shyam's betrayal frm raizadas. how ll asr or nani trust kushi & his family.

it ll b weird & unrealistic if asr & his family forgive this! of course arnav ll finally trust her & confess his love & not soon
