Discussion Of The Week - Ahista Ahista

Well welcome to our 2^nd discussion of the week topic! This time we are going to talk about a movie, called Ahista Ahista which releases in July. Maybe some of you guys have already seen the trailer/promo.

The actress is Soha Ali Khan

and the actor is Abhay .

Soha Ali Khan has been in Rang De Basanti and is Saif Ali Khan's sister, and Abhay has acted in Socha Na Tha

When asked to tell something about the movie, this is what Soha says:

It is a story about a boy called Ankush played by Abhay Deol, who lives in old Delhi. He lives on the streets and works as a witness for court marriages at a small amount of Rs.200. And then my character Megha, comes into his life. She comes from a small town and finds herself in old Delhi, which is obviously new to her. They meet by chance and how due to circumstances they are forced to spend sometime together. Their relationship develops. It is a very touching, heartfelt story about emotions, love and friendship. The dialogues are very natural; the situations very realistic and even the songs have been worked out in a very natural sort of way.

1.) From reading that, what do you think about the story line? Any comments?

The storyline sounds very good and it looks like it could be a good movie.. But I am not too sure.. The music is good so far.. esp the one by HR.. the title song..

2.) Do you like Soha Ali Khan as an actress? What did you think of her part in Rang De Basanti?

I am not a huge fan of her acting. I thought that she was excellent in RDB but I think she needs to less overact. I disliked her in her debut film.

3.) Being the only female actress do you think she should she have done Ahista Ahista?

From my point of view, I don't think she should have done, because she is quite raw. She isn't experinced as half the actress.. So, I think there should be someone else more experinced than her in a short role to give her a back up..

What do you think about Abhay? Any comments?

I don't like Abahy that much. He was horrible in his debut film. I am hoping something good out of this movie.. but it's kinda like this. Amrita Rao was horrible in her first movie and now, she is fantablous!

Any comments on the music of this movie? Himesh.R has done the music, have you heard it? Did you like it?

I have only heard the title song and it's very nice.. I haven't heard the other songs, so I cannot comment much on it..

Any final comments on this movie? Do you think people will watch it? Will YOU watch it?

The movie sounds very okay. I don't know if people watch it or not, but I 'll be watching on a video.

she is a gud actress so far... in my opinions, she did her best role is RDb so faar... i like that scene better in RDB when they all were sittin in cantene nd watchin news suddenly she cum to knw dat her fiancy is dead.. uss time par ukke expressions itne acche the...woah realy it touches my heart... i like her in RDB.

Well it seems like another love story which I dont mind but I dont think it will be a hit neither do I think it will be a flop.

Although I havent seen her act in a lot of movies, her character in Rang De Basanti was just fab! She did an amazing job..she was very good at blending in with the guys! As in overall actress shes not bad as a newcomer.

Definantly..its another journey she has taken and Im sure Soha Ali Khan is intelligent enough to know weither taking a role in this film will benefit her or not. And for those people out there that think she shouldnt do a single heroine film..they dont need to watch this movie😛

Well I think I saw him act in one movie before😳..I think Abhay is alright in acting..but I doubt it if he will become a well-known actor.

Well if Himesh has done the music then Im speechless..Himesh is a wonderfull music director and singer..I havent heard any of the songs in the movie quite yet though..once I do hear them Im sure Ill fall in love with them😳

Well I think some people will watch it..like I said before its not going to be a great hit or a flop it will be in the middle..and for the audience..I think there will be a fair show-up..the audience wont be anything to compare for KANK..but Im sure there will be some comments about the movie from the people. And for me watching the movie..definantly..although it is another love story I wont find it AS interesing but all love stories are different na?😉

2.) Do you like Soha Ali Khan as an actress? What did you think of her part in Rang De Basanti? Shes ok, she came wonderful in RDB but in her first movie she didn't turn out as well as I expected her to be, hopefully she will prove to be a good actress after this movie.

I think this movie is a MUST watch..
It appeals me like anything.. the quitness they both are sharing.. the innocence in Soha's eyes.. i've never seen before.. Also Abhay is acting mature in this film.. they speaks from their eyes..
I had never liked Soha.. but after seeing the trailers of this film.. its obvious that she is doing her best in this role.. i started liking her now.. i've seen her in RTB too.. she was quiet good there..

Yeah... I loved 'Allah Kare', 'Love u unconditonally' and 'Aahista Aashista'.. Himesh is ruling now.. the music and the songs are rocking 👏
I think people will def watch it.. Becuz of the impression Soha and Abhay had left on the viewers.. they will def watch this movie.. i hope it clicks too.. And ofcrse.. Himesh's music rocks.. so ppl are bend to watch it!.. I'll def watch it 😳
