Oh, you are all breaking my heart by saying that Gopi needs punishment😭

She has been a victim of physical and verbal abuse for most of her life (her mammi and Rashi) which even continued to a lesser extent after she got married (Aham's brutal behaviour in early days and Koki's scoldings). All that can not be erased in just a few months.
Most of the time, such victims feel they deserve the abuse they are getting and feel guilty because they feel they pushed the abuser to do it. In Gopi's case, she still feels she owes it to her mammi since she kept her in her house after her parents died. She is not able to say "no" to her and also to Rashi since she is an extension of Urmi.
At least there is no physical or verbal abuse at Modi house to that extent any more and she is happier. She got attached to Kokila because she may be strict but did help her a lot and got her out of that hell-hole. Also, Ahamji is her saviour even if he didn't want her, by marrying her, he saved her form a life time of abuse. Remember, when she wanted to leave MM, it was because she made her saviour unhappy not because she was unhappy. Such victims create a persona of happiness around them in order to protect themselves. They don't want anyone to know that they are suffering. She will never admit that her mammi has abused her. That's why she always looks happy and tries to please everyone around her because she feels she is the cause of unhappiness for everyone (she said that on her birthday).
If this was dark sinister serial, we would see Gopi with multiple personalities one day with her dominating personality coming out and killing all her abusers (Urmi first), but then the show will turn into a slasher and will be called "Slash mera Saathiya". I am glad to see Gopi as she is.
I hope Aham can see the person she is and protect her and love her as she truly deserves and needs.

Aris buddy.. First 👏 for the above points..
Completely agree to what you say. We are all Gopi lovers here although we kind of tend to go overboard sometimes.. She is really sweet and that is why we want Ahemji to help the girl.. He will surely as a true saathiya... Till then you will have to give us a little leeway with our teasing.. At the end of the day if Gopi is happy. we are happy..😃

BTW, the slaher idea was fantastic.. Guess if they really wanted, we could have Gopi kill Urmi and slash Rashi. Ahem will then fight for her like a true hero 😈 Sorry overactive imagination at work 😆

aris dear lovely post... and as harini said we all are gopi and my Ahemji supporters and fans etc...

love that slash mera saathiya... - gopi with split personality 😆

@bold Ahemji is seeing her as the person she is ... she has not changed ... he does not want her to change... because it is the very nature of her that touched his heart and made a place for herself...

he will be her true saathiya at every step... protecting her...

all the punishment we want for gopi from koki is for her own good in the future... because we want her to be aware of people like Rashi and Urmi

Justlikethat and Munni, I hope you don't mind my comments. I know you are fans of Gopi too and you just like to tease. I am sorry, but I feel like jumping in and defending Gopi whenever I see anything against her although I know it is all in good humor. I think it is because I am impatient for Ahamhi to come forward like an avenging angel and whisk her away from all Urshi's world of misery (Hmm, that should be some scene, Ahemji in black tights and a black cape).
I am not criticizing anyone of you. I am going to keep defending her if you don't mind.
You have to admit you like my slasher idea. I am not a good writer, may be someone here can write an ff about it😉

Everyone has given wonderful explanations about gopi and yeah everyone has small part of gopi in it.
Its okay when she respects her elders but she does the same towards children also😆 She obeyed children's decisions also. Its funny as how she can't impose her decision on small children as well
