Recently during the Rockstars tour in Los Angeles on May 27, Daler Mehndi became a cause of embarrassment for the on-stage performers and the organisers of the show. It happened that Salman Khan, Zayed Khan and Shahid Kapoor were performing the title track of 'Rang De Basanti', which Daler had rendered. And then suddenly Daler rushed to the stage and started dancing with them. As this was not a part of the act they were surprised with the sudden turn of event. Fortunately the organisers immediately came to the stage and lead him away. Salman looked pretty annoyed with what had happened because Daler could've ruined the whole show and efforts of Salman, Zayed and Shahid would have gone down the drain. Daler was not even a part of the Rockstars troupe. He was doing another show in the city with the same organisers and so he was present backstage. But the Bhangra King claims that the allegations against him are false. "The sponsors signaled to me to join the performers. Nobody can go backstage unless and until he is officially granted permission. The security was so tight. Nobody knew about my entry except the sponsors. I went and embraced Salman, stood for a while and came down. Salman was shocked to see me. I could see that on his face. The crowd was equally shocked if not more. Nobody knew about my entry except me," he says.
