ishu wanted to marry sahil in temple it got stopped may be for watever reason
mahi got engaged with sahil
ishu had cleverly taken the ring from mahi
she went to sahil and asked him to put on her finger he refused coz he was upset at the time
third time when sahil wanted to surprise ishu it fired back and ended putting it on mahi again
may be cvs are trying to indicate that ishu and sahil were never made for each other
all the indications are upto that mahi getting married to sahil and even after some troubles created by ishu they will end in love
this is just my guess by the indications shown in serial
