Ahem has to pass this test.Period. I see a bright start to his realization. And you are right. He has shown care and concern. Sometimes attraction but nothing has triggered him to look back at his behavior a a year aga. Not even the Kangan thing..
As Gopi keeps avoiding him, can he take it all without a fight? If he does and just keeps doing his job, content that Gopi is taking care of his needs behind the scenes, then he does not deserve her anyway.
But on the other hand if he realizes that she is avoiding him and tries to find the reason for the same, it shows us (as well as him) that he is not just missing Gopi for the work she does, he plainly misses her for her.. That should tell him that he considers her more than just someone who takes care of him to someone he loves and needs..
Not sure why, or maybe I know, but I want Ahem to see what it is like to be ignored by that one person you want to talk and see the most.. Just like Gopi a year ago, Ahem needs to realize that it is painful when the person you love, ignores you and doesn't want anything to do with you.
If Ahem overcomes these obstacles that come in his way, his reluctance to come to term with his feelings, Gopi's vows, his mom's conditions, and finally Gopi's misunderstandings to prove to her that he indeed cares and loves her, then he is really her Saathiya.
I just have to brace myself for Gopi's pain a little more because it is bound to happen. Ahem's suffering is hers and she will not be able to see him in pain. But I hope that this time around, the pain brings loads of happiness in their lives đ
