Jai Walia The Quintessential Hero

Today Jai Walia's character proved that he was the man that every twenty year old's dreams are made of . Caring, understanding, protective, vulnerable, romantic, charismatic, powerful and above all stinkingly rich(kidding....not!). Ram kapoor totally brings this character to life. There cannot be another living soul who could do this, the only exception being George Clooney. The scene between Jai and Bani when he comes home after his encounter with Roshini is one for the acting books . The gamut of emotions that were visible on his face ,the fear of having come close to losing her but at the same time relieved that she was safe and protected under his roof , the love that is in his heart and begging to be brought to the forefront ,the longing in his eyes when she was leaving the room. I felt that all he wanted to do was hold her tight and never let her go but was afraid of bringing his feelings out in the open and later the easy camraderie he shared with her during the dance before the besura performance and of course the besura performance , What can I say about it except that he wanted to show his wife that he can be a good sport. Last but not the least the possessiveness he displayed (in a cute way)when he took her hands to dance for the kuch na kaho song and never lost eye contact with her but at the same time showing the world that she belongs to him and he is proud to show her off and also telling her that he his hers for the long run. My heart missed a couple of beats at the way he was looking at her( and I am no spring chicken, probably one of the older ones on this forum). Kudos to Ram Kapoor for bringing the magic of romance to the forefront.

I am not as eloquent as MT or RAAGA or Anushka in my praise for Ram Kapoor but today here is my heartfelt applause.

MT you are my inspiration to write. There used to be another member in the Tumhari Disha Forum called DISHA77 . Your writing style is very similar to hers. I became interested in that show after reading her updates. Please keep posting whenever you can. Yes I am aware of your internet woes.

Couldn't agree more! Ram Kapoor personifies the dream man every woman has desired! His brooding, mature, caring nature makes him absolutely delectable and well those unconventional looks, husky voice and special mention of his expressive eyes are an added bonus (or maybe the most important thing!) 😉 Every scene of his with Bani was absolutely brilliant and kudos to the creative geniuses under Kekta's command! 👏 What beautifully shot scenes and sensitive handling of the subject! I'm extremely impressed and like Aditee said if this is what Kekta's willing to dish out then bring it on for another 40 years! May you always be the workaholic woman that you are Kekta! God bless! 😃

Exactly my sentiments. I think I was the one that said he is the indian George Clooney. They even look like twins. Its remarkable. That deep brooding romantic character that one can only dream off. That cleft in the chin and the lips. Only Clooney has that cleft in his chin and lips like Jai Wallia. Gautami is a lucky woman to get such a hunk of a man. He is the essence of the dark tall and handsome man. I still wish though that they would do away with that shock of grey hair at the front. I know he looks very young with black hair but so what. Trying to make him look aritificially old is silly. He looks like dynamite with his hair black. They had him all black in a couple of episodes. Then must have realized he looks too young for his character. Still I wish...........

Hey htfd! That was wonderfully written. You are no less eloquent than the best of the forum. Seriously, this forum has some great writers. Today Ram was at his best. The anguish in his eyes when he was talking about their adventure at the godown was heart melting. And finally, our man admitted to being in love. It cannot get any better. 😳

Btw, your 'spring chicken' comment cracked me up!😆

And you reminded me of Disha77. She was one terrific writer. She made me love DK at that point. I lost touch with that forum once I lost interest in TD, but I did go back to see if she still visited. I didn't find any recent post by her....wonder why 😕

Btw, your 'Ranvir fanfic' is going great! 👏
