Can we petition for a villian with a purpose??

Every story needs a villian - we get that. And we understand that you wanted to give us a Gabbar that would send shivers down our spine with those eye-ball popping sneers, narrowing of the eyes, and lopsided grins with a pronounced flute in an eerie background score. But what we got instead was a Kaalia - a nostril flaring caricature who has suddenly developed a twitch because he is frustrated with an itch!!! (no offense to Mr. Viju Khote - you were brilliant as Kaalia)

An antagonist completes a story -- I am with you on that. But obsessing after "I want Khushi" is not enough to invoke homicidal tendencies. Unless, he was homicidal to begin with. But we don't know that. Did he fall out of love with Anjali or was he never in love (he did hint at the latter). So why did he marry her? For the money (he shares the accommodation but not the business - *flag*), or to settle scores from a connected past? We don't know that either. We know how far he can go to get what he wants but did he just turn into a psychopath or was he one already?? Again, we don't know that.

Please, we need to understand his motivation, his history for his actions to make sense. I am sure you had a vision for this character but your vision got blocked by the TRP chart. So re-align your focus and we don't mind a Kaalia but please give him a purpose!!! Please know that even Kaalia is iconic with his famous last words "sardar, woh do the"!!!

And while we are at it, we would like
1) to know about Laxmi's past, present and future
2) Is Om Prakash coming back
3) How do all rooms on all levels connect to the same pool/pond/puddle
4) How many rooms does GH actually have

And ofcourse, please don't forget about Arnav's past!

Renu, I totally agree with you. I still can't believe after 3 attempts, now the 4th one he thinks Khushi will marry him after Anjali's death. What a joke!
If his only mission is Khushi, this whole plot looks like comedy circus. We do not know anything about Shyam, other than he is Anjali's husband, lusts for Khushi, from Lucknow and a useless dimwit lawyer who probable lost all the cases he fought for, in the process depending on Arnav and Anjali for allowance.

When are the cvs going to reveal something about him. Why is he constantly trying to kill Anjali, Does he have any grudge against the brother-sister duo... nothing has been explained.

For me he is a big comedian who does n't invoke any laughter, instead irritation and hate.
The Cvs owe us an explanation about Shyam and his antics for the mental torture they are putting us through. Otherwise I am going to sue them big time.

Also if you know Jenny, one of our IF members talked to Gautam Hegde very recently, apparently he said, Shyam is not going to anywhere, cause he is the villain and every story needs it. Just like you I am asking him what kind of villain is he?


One more thing just like you said yesterday him and his flared up nostrils, is freaking me out.

I agree with the rest of the things you wanted to know. I also want to know, don't you think we deserve this much at least for being loyal to the show for the past 8 months.


P.S. One thing that Shyam learnt in the last 8 months is to make Jalebis...throw his lawyer degree out the window, he can become a halwaii.

This new epic fail of a murderer Shyam, has turned into some neanderthal caveman, only grunting out 'Khushi-Nice', 'Anjali-Kill' repeatedly. Just hit her over the head with your club and be done with it. Sheesh.

Seriously...Arhi story was complicated as it is...without anyone else even trying they are busy running around in rigmaroles...and now this Shyam keeps popping in with his schemes and delusional thoughts.

Why is he so obsessed with killing Anjali? Guptas hate him...and now he seems to know that Arhi are attracted to each other...so even if Anji dies, why does he think Khushi will marry him?! 😕

Unless he plans to kidnap and forcibly marry her or something 😕

Also. This infamous pool...There are SOO many rooms that connect to it. and why is it that Anjali's room looks just like the guest room and every other room except Arnav's. Also...where to the stairs outside near the pool lead to? Crazyyy.

🤣That pool has been haunting me more than shyam, infact!!

The stairs lead "up" to the mid-level study and yet arnav's room (which is a level further up) opens out to the pool which is a level down😕😆
