Now some may call me modern or angreez but I think at some points in life one should stand up for what is right for them. Now I'm not knocking on traditions and valuing relationships and the 'farz' of marriage. But there are certain limits that shouldnt be crossed and when they are the very thing that was deemed precious is no longer what it originally was. And that's exactly what priya told aditya today. Their love and marriage that was supposed to be a relationship of their hearts broke not by one action, but by repeat actions of aditya. How regardless of the people and times he was shown the truth he continued to have blind faith in the one person that he had once vowed his wife he would go to the ends of the earth to find and kill. I know aditya feels bad and he was just believing his dad. But the blind faith he showed in his father, is something Priya had every right to expect and unfortunately every time it was tested she got slapped in the face by reality. As she said, their love wasnt strong enough to withstand the test of this and thus she beleives there is no future for them.
(Sorry i couldnt resist my 2 cents lol)
Back to the point, CVS i just want to say thank you, the dialouges priya spoke were not only well written and of course delivered. But in my opinion it spoke volumes of the message that this show is trying to send. That just because you are a woman and you have 'maryada' you have been taught to follow. It doesn't mean you dont stand up for what is right not only for others but for yourself as well. And if someone who is supposed to be your partner in life doesnt support you blindly and have faith in you, then maybe it is better to cut your loses. I think the line that says it all is "if you hadnt caught your father red handed, then what?" Aint it the truth.
PS i know aditya and priya will work it out. And i'm not against it, i'm just sayin i love that the cvs didnt have priya back down and accept aditya's apologies and forgive and forget.
