I just wanted to post a big THANK YOU to the creatives for finally doing something i have wanted to see for a long time. I am so glad they stuck to their guns (via Priya) and made their lead protagonist a strong character. It's refreshing to see a show actually keep their characters consistent. I just LOVED that even though the truth came out and Aditya now realizes how wrong he truly was, and even the woman who he cursed and accused of having a loose character forgave him (his mom). Priya did not back down from walking away. For once a show has depicted what I have wanted so badly to see for so long on an Indian show.

Now some may call me modern or angreez but I think at some points in life one should stand up for what is right for them. Now I'm not knocking on traditions and valuing relationships and the 'farz' of marriage. But there are certain limits that shouldnt be crossed and when they are the very thing that was deemed precious is no longer what it originally was. And that's exactly what priya told aditya today. Their love and marriage that was supposed to be a relationship of their hearts broke not by one action, but by repeat actions of aditya. How regardless of the people and times he was shown the truth he continued to have blind faith in the one person that he had once vowed his wife he would go to the ends of the earth to find and kill. I know aditya feels bad and he was just believing his dad. But the blind faith he showed in his father, is something Priya had every right to expect and unfortunately every time it was tested she got slapped in the face by reality. As she said, their love wasnt strong enough to withstand the test of this and thus she beleives there is no future for them.
(Sorry i couldnt resist my 2 cents lol)

Back to the point, CVS i just want to say thank you, the dialouges priya spoke were not only well written and of course delivered. But in my opinion it spoke volumes of the message that this show is trying to send. That just because you are a woman and you have 'maryada' you have been taught to follow. It doesn't mean you dont stand up for what is right not only for others but for yourself as well. And if someone who is supposed to be your partner in life doesnt support you blindly and have faith in you, then maybe it is better to cut your loses. I think the line that says it all is "if you hadnt caught your father red handed, then what?" Aint it the truth.

PS i know aditya and priya will work it out. And i'm not against it, i'm just sayin i love that the cvs didnt have priya back down and accept aditya's apologies and forgive and forget.

She's definitely been one to stand up for herself .. Now I wanna see what Vidya and Uttara do for themselves. I have full faith In Devyani too. Just wondering what the CVs have in store for Vidya and Uttara.

I have to agree with you - great job CVs.

I agree, as i've already said a few times Priya made the move to walk out and start life afresh. Aditya didnt tell her to leave. The CVs are definitely doing a great job and i hope they keep it up.

Till now Priya has been supporting Devyani, she was not wrong in doing so and also trying to keep Aditya happy. Like she said she never thought that whilst supporting the truth she would lose her husbands support. But now she needs to look out for herself and make herself happy. Now I'm not knocking on traditions and valuing relationships and the 'farz' of marriage. But there are certain limits that shouldnt be crossed and when they are the very thing that was deemed precious is no longer what it originally was. And that's exactly what priya told aditya today. Great post Arps 🤗

Now its time for Vidya to take a stand on what she wants to do in life too. And she will do it after getting the encouragement from seeing Priya leave the house.
Till now all four ladies have been kept under one roof and now the CVs, i think are going to separate all four to lead their own lives and then come together again. When Maryada started there usd to be all of them in different places and they would all come together on each corner of our screens, i think now it will be the opposite.
I'm getting excited and looking forward to see what the future has in store for them.

Yes ,These women are real . and almost all of their emotions have been shown in this show ,

I am proud to say I am a regular audience of a show which already created history for being different ..

Lets celebrate womanhood with Maryada

Thanks to CVs indeed for giving us strong and principled female characters! 👏👏
Im so fed up of simpering, spineless, suffering female leads in other shows!
Maryada is groundbreaking show in many respects! Kudos to the team!
