Imagine Dil Se has confirmed the launch of two new dramas launching in the coming weeks.

Out goes 'Dharampatni', which has been under the scanner for several weeks and its place will launch 'Me Ajji Aur Saheb' from Monday 13th February in the 21:30 slot.

'Me Ajji Aur Saheb' is a telly remake of a renowned Marathi film 'Saat Chya Aaat Gharat'. The light-hearted drama has a Marathi backdrop.

In the 21:00 slot, 'Beend Banoonga Ghodi Chadunga' will end on Friday 2nd March, to be replaced with new drama 'Jamuna Paar' produced by Rajan Shahi, on Monday 5th March.

'Jamuna Paar' is said to be inspired by the hit movie 'Band Baja Bharat' whereby the female lead is a fashion designer and the male lead will be essaying the role of an aspiring actor.

Furthermore, 'Chandragupta Maurya' which currently runs at weekends will air just Saturday evenings in a 90-minute slot from February.

The channel has also confirmed that primetime dramas which are aired currently Monday through to Thursday will extend to Fridays in February.

Honestly, there really ain't much left in the show. Instead of parading actor after actor, show Sarika clear her Med finals and get her MBBS, and then have Jai & the family endorse and help her open her first clinic, which she can name after her deceased brother. Since this is not a love serial as such, they can do that and end it on that happy note.
