Also, NO MATTER how bold or liberal or educated or "americanized" a woman is, the fact remains that she is a WOMAN. Being liberal does not changes one to be possessive about who she loves. Besides, the household practically drove her to the point. Being all modern might change one's views but not feelings.

I never said or meant that comparisons are alright.. ofcourse no one likes to be compared. Comparisons are only drawn when the person does not live upto certain expectations.. Agreed that Dadi & Veena's expectations were way too much.. they never gave Antara the time.. but what about Kumkum, who supported & defended her every single time? Antara never lived upto even the minutest expectations.. Even the most liberal & broadminded people in the world have certain expectations.. thats natural!

And in what way has Antara helped Kumkum? Had she helped KK..nothing of the sort would've happened..

Its good to have one's own personality & mind.. best when its in tandem with others, especially one's own family. One doesn't have to prove better than another..but atleast prove your own worth! Unfortunately, Antara didn't do that.. neither did she make any efforts. Everytime Kumkum tried explaining her something..she had this 'I'm right..rest of the world is wrong' stand.. Sorry, but Antara has been rude throughout.. she has this 'I, Me, Myself' attitude, which obviously doesn't gel well with the family!

Antara is just plain wrong. She is insecure, let other people munliplate her and thinks the worst of people, and as far i see she doesn't even try to listen to Kumkum and see that she should for now try to win people over, since she is new she should try harder to win there confidence.

She is also very stuburn an not willing to listen or change.

well you know all i gotta say is that ....PPL EAVESDROP A LOT!! you can't just decide who is wrong or right at this point...just think how did this all started...in the beginning antra didn't mind siya n dhruv being best friends and she also saw siya's room with dhruv's pictureZZ...she didn't mind back then now, did she? so now from where on the earth did she get such an ugly thought about siya and dhruv...well i think maybe it's no one's fault...first person i would blame is shanti mausi and i m sure you know why...like i said...ppl eavesdrop a lot!

You just stated exactly what you said before and I still dont agree. She was never against the idea of being the good bahu.. all she did was do things differently, other than what others expected her to do. I dont think that makes her the bad person, and like I said, most of the things she did in good spirit turned out to be negative.

well i don't really agree with u ...she was nice 2 siya but she is 2 sellfish...she can't even compromise with any one yaar...she is such a stupid buhu...she is definetly not fit 4 the WH house ...

I agree.. doing things differently doesn't make you the bad person. I too empathised with Antara throughtout the SM ordeal she went through.. Doing things 'differently' is fine..upto the point where it works for you. When it doesn't work, means its time to change/mend ways to suit everyone! That is where Antara has been stubborn, not willing to budge from her stand.. and hence become negative in front of everyone. My point again.. why give anyone a chance to talk bad about you??

It may have started with Shanti Mausi & her eavesdropping... but this whole Siya-Dhruv friendship is a germ of Antara's mind..SM never told Antara anything about Siya-Dhruv! Antara has sooo much negativity in her mind, she's unable to look at things in a positive light. Right now for her..everyone is wrong & she is right!
