My Q to Ekta Kapoor..
If you want to show a true cause "BC" do the right justice or show proper steps-protocols..
No 33 yrs young woman has to do Mamogram unless she detacted a lump during self examination or the doctor felt it...Hopefully doctor felt it and so she was sent for Mamogram.
Even if the lump shows does not mean doctor is to say he has a doubt that it is cancer because specialists think it is cancerous cells...No way any mamogram can show or say that...Radiology expert will say it is lump which could be benign or cancerous but to determine we have to do biopsy of the breast tissue...
All this is not done in one day process...Unless u r RK family and doctor put a rush..
Loved how RaYa handled this news...Doctor should not have broken the news the way he did...He should have simply said...We found a lump in Priya's breast and to determine whether it is benign or cancer we must do biopsy...Not al lumps are cancerous...There was no need to scare the patient...Yes giving them true candid picture is the right thing...But wait until the biopsy results come back which takes between a wk to 2...
I had tears in my eyes watching both RaYa as they were told and how Ram held her hand...Priya needed simply someone to hold and confort her..How scary it is to hear this news but how devastating it is to learn-hear "You have BC" ...Thank god in this case it is a benign lump-syst...
Ekta's doctor was still bit better in BALH compared the doctros she showed on PR...If you want audiance to be aware of something-a cause than do the proper research and educate...
Thanks for reading...It was very emotional episode for me personally..

Thanks for the wonderful post,. Not BC but Cancer is a topic that's very close to my heart since my dad has been diagnosed by it and too its spread too far. I was really glad that it was not OTT.
Coming to ur qn. i thought the Doc said that it was a tumour and they did have to do further tests (biopsy) specifically to find out. Iam pretty sure he said that she showed signs and not a confirmation which would be bullshit!
Yes .. the tests don;t happen so quickly.. But in a serial, they need to go over a few things quickly as it can;t be too realistic!I will die if it takes 2 weeks for them to show the biopsy results! He was more candid but having seen how the cancer specialists dealt in India. I guess they really don;t like to post the positives but be more bland and not raise hopes!! However I did feel the Dr tried to place it as a matter of fact and explained the occurence being common with statistics and also telling them tht its curable if its still early!!
I loved RAYA's acceptance of the situation!! It was indded an emotinal episode for me too!

Fosla Cancer is somthing very close to my heart as I lost my father due to throat cancer when I was only 3...2 out of us 3 sibling sisters have been diagnosed with BC and fighting it...One is a survivor as she passed 5 yrs time line...And another one is trying to make it to 5 yrs survivor status...
Hope your dad's cancer is not spread too much or is in earliar stages so he can fight it out, goes into full recovery and comes out as a survivor...God bless him...
BTW Tumor-Lump and the details will come out in biopsy report as it will have cancer's grade, stage, size and other details...No way it is considered cancer just by seeing a tumor-lump in a breast on a mamogram..😳
NEways good topic and people should share their experiences as knowledge sharing...
Raya together were awesome...I just wish Ram could have held her in his arms as she was so lost did not know how to feel or take the news..Kind a feeling numb ...

@Varsha and FoslaMy heart goes out to u guys. Sorry to hear about your loss Varsha my condolences..Will pray for your Dad Fosla..Cancer is indeed scary...If detected in the earlier stages it can be fixed..My MIL's step mom was diagnosed with breast cancer in the early 90's and till today she is well and hearty...It's always good to raise awareness about cancer especially for woman abt breast cancer and cervical cancer...At least in Priya's case we know it's a scare..Real life cancer patients undergo a lot of pain.

Varsha( I thought somebody called u by the name here!)
Oh dear! Amen!! And a big hug🤗 for having gone through this in your life!! Hats off to your Sis's for being survivors! My dad was diagnosed at the 4th stage a year ago.. Throat and spread to other parts!! So we are just counting on the Almighty since he neither has the age and even the treatments are too late to work!!
Yup.. Biopsy would have all those details. So probably since the track is gonna be for 3 weeks, it may just be the usual waiting period of 2 weeks for Biopsy and they would show the track progressing with expectations and how they cope through this waiting period.
Raya were taken aback and too shocked to react. Iam glad atleast Ram held her hand and assured her that it was fine at the doc's place. They were just trying hard to digest the news and not to be the first one to break down I guess!!

Thanks!! I guess the BC awareness and knowledge would help women all over to not be scared and understand the disease better! Cancer is unfortunately not a poor man's disease. It doesnt differentiate and its only the awareness of it that would help!! Earlier the better!
Thanks a lot for remembering us in prayers!! It's only God who could really change anything!!

Thanks for remembering our families! Please do pray from my Dad!! I wish God really listens to all the prayers!!
Cancer is really scary! It affects people psychologically more before physical!! Iam glad the awareness is being done through such emiment TV personalities. The medium TV is very effective! And I hope people of all classes in life realize that its a disease and with awareness and early detection could actually cure it!!
There's nothing worse in life than to wait for your death not knowing when it would arrive😭
