I don't know if what he did is justified.

If your parents neglect you, it doesn't mean you can take revenge on your brother (who did nothing wrong) and ruin his life.

Great analysis soni. I sympathize with him. He is feeling neglected and when someone feels they are unwanted, well we all know who they can turn out to be.

Kartik is a normal person. I have gotten my mother's attention (never mind about my father) but still, if I was in Kartik's place I probably would have done the same. It doesn't make you a sadist or an evil vamp.
