When you aim for perfection, you discover it's a moving target - ~George Fisher~
For us, Rajeevians, The above stated dictum applies perfectly to Mr. Rajeev khandelwal, whom we consider Mr. Perfectionist.Mr. Rajeev Khandelwal Was A Perfectionist, Is A Perfectionist & We Believe That He Will Always Continue To Be So...Not just for Rajeevians, but Rajeev Khandelwal being a Perfectionist is something which is being accepted by one & all...
~Let share the reason for this Title with a Roller Coaster Ride.~
None of us are perfect people, some of us claim to be, some of us can't even live up to the expectations, But Exceptions are always there and this Exception is Rajeev Khandelwal.
Starting from KTH which gave him recognition as Sujal Garewal, man of words, a man of wisdom, a man of excellence. Sujal Grewal was a kind of a character who had grey shades and at that point of time people were little reluctant to opt for such bold negative shade character. But this man proved them wrong. Despite of all his negativity he emerged as a hero. A fictional character that we would always remember for his remarkable expressions, his timings and for his dialogue delivery.
Rajeev always strives harder for bigger goals and never sticks to same usual projects. That is the reason we haven't seen him again in a lover boy avatar. Sujal Grewal was a history for Rajeev and he was shown in completely surprising character that is Captain Rajvir Shikhawat in Left Right left. He has done phenomenal job again and still people love watching Left right Left, even after 5 years Captain's magic is still there.
The characters he has done in his career till now though didn't last for years but one can still remember his performance whether it's a short role in CID, A challenger serial Time Bomb or an across border serial Sun Lena, every time Rajeev came on screen we got to watch something unusual something exceptional.
Rajeev left soap operas at his peak at that time he would have got ample lead roles in any daily soap but his urge for something different brought him to some other project.
Here we saw him neither as a strict disciplined army/ police officer nor as a romantic passionate lover but he played an inspiration host of deal ya no deal. His yet another flawless show that brought smile every time people saw him on screen. DYND has put another feather in his cap that he can do hosting as well. Where we have seen people doing same customary projects, Rajeev raised the bar himself by delivering that show in such natural way, that no one felt he was hosting infact it perceived as a chit chat with contestants and guests.
When one would think what else he can do now , he would come up with another surprise that would force people to think how versatile he is, how much urge he is possessing to do different things, how must risk he can take, how much experimental he can be with himself.
Rajeev would stand up on all these queries and again his work speaks in Aamir. A film which had no heroine no song. Can we expect in this commercial age such a high drama hard hitting movie would do well. Well Well it was rajeev's performance that got applause again and he made a distinctive place in film genre.
For him only good work matters whether it belong to small screen or big. That is the reason we are not only seeing him in movies like some stars who have bound themselves to big screen. He is cashing every possible opportunity that he perceives challenging and carrying in his own flair.
Sach ka samna is another example which is considered to be a highly controversial show yet loved by masses. The way he makes contestants conformable, the way he makes them realize their mistakes, the way he consoles them it's just beyond anyone's expectations.
Mr. Perfectionist never believes in sitting quietly doing one thing at one point of time. This hard worker emerged again in completely different avatar in "Super Cars" that was enough to make girls blush, glaring him quietly despite of not getting the technical aspects shown by this classy host himself.

Always determined to find some exigent characters he emerged as Inspector Mathur and as DJ Raunak in Shaitaan and soundtrack. Keeping in mind Rajeev's persona one would be surprised to see the transformation he got in himself. What not he has done to bring that closer to reality. This multitalented man never let anyone say Kuch improvement ho saqti thi is main. The deadly Dj's and arrogant Cop's screen presence put everyone on edge of their seats.

He put soul in every character he played on screen. One wonders what motives Rajeev to choose such rousing and challenging characters. This question is yet to be answered because his journey from better to best is still on as Kurt Lewin says "A successful individual typically sets his next goal somewhat but not too much above his last achievement. In this way he steadily raises his level of Inspiration"
This is exactly what Rajeev Khandelwal is doing, no matter how much box office returns his movies/ shows are getting, his inner satisfaction is what matters to him. Every new project is different, challenging, and inspirational and proves him Mr. Perfectionist.
