http://articles.timesofindia.indiatimes.com/2009-07-28/kanpur/28201761_1_student-leaders-student-union-admission-process
This excerpt from the above news piece cracked me up

"With student union elections round the corner, there has been spurt in the number of violent incident on the campuses of degree colleges, as protests and ransacking of college property on Tuesday.

The girl students were also taken into confidence by the student leaders in order to win over their support.

The admission process at the College got hampered when the student leaders and their supporters barged into the campus and closed down the office of the principal, demanding 'fairness' in the admission process. Annoyed over denial of admission to a few girls, the student leaders raised slogans and ransacked the furniture of the college."

This is so similar to what Indu is cooking up.

I had no idea they existed but some googling provided me proof of student union related violence.

It's very easy to stay in Uni for years and years if you've been failing everything. Indu probably never went to class and instead spent time gaining contacts. He probably has his name on the roll calls but the teachers know better than to call it out. I bet he probably has a scholarship himself 😆

My Uni at least has a charsi gang. They don't attend class and since smoking is not allowed in the premises they hang out near the gates completely stoned. I don't think they're graduating any time soon. Thank goodness only people with 3+ gpas are allowed to lead extra curricular activities which eliminates the troublemakers.

Prabal's case is more of a mystery and another thing that makes me curious is that Prabal and Indu are both fighting for the same spot. That means a power vacuum was left by someone before them. Who was it?

I think the election process and it's past history needs some more clarification.
