Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Maira sneaks out of dance class, Krish comes to her support

In tonight's episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, the emotional tension between Armaan and Abhira deepens. The episode opens with Armaan finding Abhira fast asleep on the floor, and it hits him that she must have waited the whole night for him to return. When Abhira wakes up, she confronts him about his distant behaviour.

Feeling guilty, Armaan apologises, admitting that he got carried away by the hurtful remarks circulating on social media. Abhira calmly tells him to ignore such negativity and not allow random comments to come between them. Armaan then suggests she get some rest, but Abhira insists on taking Maira to her dance class. Concerned for her health, Armaan gently stops her, assuring her that he will drop Maira himself.

Sanjay Blames Abhira for the Family’s Stress

At the Poddar house, Kaveri inquires about Abhira. Vidya replies that Armaan mentioned she was simply tired and would wake up soon. Sanjay, however, is annoyed and sarcastically remarks that while Abhira sleeps peacefully, the rest of them are losing sleep over the backlash from the viral video.

Just then, Abhira walks in and firmly tells Sanjay that instead of blaming her, they should report the fake clip and stop obsessing over what strangers say online. Sanjay refuses to back down and demands that Abhira issue a public apology to silence the criticism once and for all.

Meanwhile, Armaan tries to lighten Maira's mood on the way to her class, but she remains quiet and distant, leaving him worried. After he drops her at the dance academy, Maira sneaks out and breaks down outside. Krish spots her and gently asks why she's crying, concerned about her behaviour.

Family Divided Over Abhira’s Actions

Back home, Abhira stands her ground and refuses to apologise. She explains that she hasn't done anything wrong, if the video had been real, she would have taken responsibility, but since it was fabricated, there's nothing to say sorry for. Kajal scolds her, calling her reckless, but Abhira defends herself, saying that there's nothing inappropriate about hugging one's husband. Tanya taunts her, asking why she needed to showcase her affection publicly.

While Armaan worries about Maira, the family discussion intensifies. Abhira argues that showing affection isn't shameful and reminds Tanya how she held Krish's hand at her engagement ceremony. Tanya dismisses the comparison, saying that it was a special occasion. Abhira retorts that even then, it happened in public. Manoj, Madhav, and Vidya come to Abhira's defence, stating that her intentions were pure. Kiara also supports Abhira, saying Tanya shouldn't criticise someone for expressing love differently. However, she apologises to Tanya for sounding harsh. Tanya, still hurt, questions if Kiara values Abhira more than her.

Abhira Refuses to Apologise for a Fake Video

Abhira passionately asserts that there's nothing wrong in a husband and wife expressing love respectfully in front of others. Sanjay argues that in their generation, married couples rarely spoke openly about affection. Abhira points out how times have changed and says that love should never be hidden behind societal walls. Surprisingly, Kaveri agrees with Abhira and admits that the old restrictions placed on married couples were unfair. Yet, Sanjay remains stubborn, insisting once again that Abhira should apologise publicly to close the matter.

Refusing to bow down, Abhira declares that apologising for something she didn't do would only make them appear guilty. She boldly adds that if Sanjay feels the need for an apology, he's welcome to do it himself. Her words infuriate Sanjay, who storms off angrily.
