Amit's debut film![Veer of YDCH]

Amit Khanna has no bong connection yet but the actor has recently signed a

Bengali film. This will be Amit's first feature film ever where he gets to play a double role and it will be directed by veteran actor of yesteryears Biswajit where he will be cast opposite Biswajit's daughter Treena Chatterji.
"I play two characters which are totally different from one another, one is a positive guy and the other is negative. It's a comedy film and has an interesting script and I play a double role so there is a huge responsibility in my shoulders to do a good job," says a nervous Amit who will begin shooting for the film in August in both Mumbai and Kolkatta.

So we ask him how he managed to bag a regional film so soon in his career and will he be able to pull it off??
"This is Biswajit uncle's home production and we had met at a party long back post which we kept in touch and he wanted to cast me in his film even before Yeh Dil Chahe More happened as he had seen my work earlier. But unfortunately I could not give him dates that point of time besides regional films require more than 15-20 days in a month. For this film Biswajit Uncle's wife and my friend are going to teach me Bengali and if all goes well I plan to dub for my part myself" smiles the down to earth actor.
For now he is happy playing a brat in Yeh Dil Chahe More and plans to take on more work on television as well as films.
